I bought Zooloretto and a Carcassone Limited Edition. The latter choice was basically because the box looks cool, I was tossing up between that and Ticket to Ride: Nordic Countries. Pandemic is sold out until after christmas.

I'm not Danoss or even an Eels supporter, but overpaying for a winger is the last thing the Eels need. May have been worth it as a fullback, but he's still fairly unproven in that spot right?

I remember thinking that when he was at the Broncos (I'm of the opinion wingers are pretty replaceable, it comes from growing up playing in the forwards I think). But then he was scoring a try a game before he went to AFL. The kid can play. I think he could play fullback, it might take him a bit to get the hang of it, but he's got the skills.

The stupidest thing to come from this is that the ARLC wanted him registered at a specific cap hit. That's bullshit. What's the point of trying to get good deals on players if the Commission unilaterally decides what a player is worth?

I don't think he would a very good fullback (he hasn't played an NRL game there). These days the good fullbacks are pretty much an extra play maker, and Folau hasn't passed the ball in his career.

I agree with you, I think they're the least valuable position. Falou would be lethal in a team with established playmakers. I think the Eels need to figure out if Sandow is actually good and just being poorly coached, or if he sucks and was just a tremendous waste of money. I've heard both opinions from Eels fans, not sure which side Danoss is on. Either way, I'm sure their problems are more than just finishing.

Only a little. Looking at his track record, he would've left part-way through his contract to play for another club/sport offering more money. I would prefer we spent future cap-space in areas other than more expensive backs; Hayne, Hopoate and Sandow are already eating up a decent portion of it. If rumours of luring Tamou over are true and it happens, I'll be very happy.

I like what I read in a story about the matter that had words from Ricky Stewart in it:

"I'd rather know today about the dishonorable characteristics of Israel than pay him all the money that we tried to secure over the past eight weeks, then find out about the way he operates," Stuart said.

"I know it's an easy throwaway line, but success is built on culture and our club is plus one in culture by not having Israel."

Nice choices! They'll love 'em, I'm sure. Carcasonne in particular is popular for good reason.

I agree completely. We've got some speedy juniors coming through that look the goods, and at a fraction of the price too. What we need more than anything, is more grunt in the forwards.

You've got a second rower from the Ipswich Jets coming there next year, Lorenzo Ma'afu. I wouldn't be too shocked if he made the NRL team.

He's got a pretty amazing story actually got booted from the Dogs for being a drunken idiot. Went to the Jets, had a drink spiked and got banned for a year. Even though there was footage of his drink being spiked. He's been through a lot to get to a second chance.

I did read that he was a new signing, among quite a few that the club are at least a little excited about. I wasn't aware of his back-story, but I look forward to seeing him taking full advantage of this opportunity.

I completely forgot that we signed Darcy Lussick and Daniel Harrison too, what a memory I have!

After you mentioned his name, I read some stories about him. Sounds like he's put in the hard yards to get where his is after making some serious mistakes.

Noel Cleal wanted to sign him for Manly before Des left. Cleal is a great recruitment manager and if he's after someone, they're worth paying attention to. Wayne Bennett wanted a look at him, but obviously didn't follow through after watching him train.

New thread title is perfect.

Random enemy spawn is irritating as fuck in Far Cry 3. Everything disappears if you move 30m away. Everyone has basic boring weapons. Can't buy anything but weapons. Loot incredibly easy to find which makes money inconsequential (while forcing you to hunt down the animals needed so you can build a Wallet that holds an extra $1000).

Once I level up enough it will be fun. Just Saints Row 3 all over again for a while.

No one has claimed offense, only highlighted the practicality of the word being prominent.

Of course, I cant browse gaming sites at work so it's fine on my mobile.

Cunt is a word that doesn't bother me though.

A content filter would pick up page content too I think, so it wouldn't be for that. It sounds like Legend was worried about someone manually looking at his browsing history and seeing the title listed over and over, which seems weird, but not outside of the realms of possibility I guess.

I was only talking about offense in the sense that people are worried that people looking at their browser or history are more likely to take offense.

This has already happened to me. It was most awkward when doing a group assignment at Uni earlier this year, I casually dropped cunt into normal conversation and stunned the other three people I was talking to.
