I don't think there's any evidence for this. If anything, Netflix makes it easier for hypothetically racist garbage to exist in its own walled-off niche vs. scheduled programming on a TV network.

Netflix censored a bit on a Netflix only standup special for a comedian I like, so they might censor things.

Now whether the deal gives Clarkson/Hammond/May full creative control is another story.
