3 pages and not a single person questions why Nintendo have a small screen at the top...

I'm seriously disappointed in GAF...
What do you want? This isn't Nintendo here...

Most likely, they've chosen a smaller display in order to paint the system in its best light. The machine offers a much lower resolution than the competition and is best viewed on a smaller display. In addition, displaying a 480p image in 16:9 simply stretches the horizontal resolution and results in a downgraded picture. Sure, it's widescreen, but it's not as sharp as the 4:3 image would be (as 640x480 is a 4:3 resolution).

Don't like the Wii kiosk. Looks cheap, should be all glossy white. :)

And why is the Wii logo blue? It should be grey.

hmmmm.... not the same design/marketing team... these are for stores and blue lights are better than gray lights :lol

print ads don't need lights so the gray works on glossy paper :D

Umm, he really didn't say anything at all about the 4x3 tv, as that has been gone over several times in this thread already.

He was referring to the fact that there appears to be a secondsmaller screen above the tv on the kiosk, or at least some sort of display area.

The top screen is to show the person who's playing on the Wii at that time to see how their movements are relating to the images in the game on the lower screen, meaning the kiosk will have some sort of camera on it too.

Or, you know, maybe it's just running a looping video of people "living the Wii lifestyle" as seen in pretty much every Wii promo.
