Honestly. If they decided to put DQ XI on the PS4 and are using Heroes to increase the install base in Japan, that would mean they actually want to release the title worldwide.

I think 2015 is the good time for the PS4 if you interest in Japanese games.
I'd take all those Touhou doujin games over the current western lineup for the PS4. And Senran Kagura, and Ys.

We, as Western, we got Revelations 2 confirmation, Bllodborne info, DQ Warriors announcements, P5 and Ys PS4 version...

Literally the only thing I got from those two hours was a couple of laughs and an announcement that I could have gotten everything out of in a Gaf thread title: Persona 5, PS4.
This not so much just because of the current PS3 install base for the game. The other two are exclusives, but P5 is cross-gen.
It'll sell less than Wii U until at least Feb. 5, 2015.

No FFXV didn't really surprise me. No Type-0 HD is far more surprising. Still though we at leats know it is coming from PAX impressions.

Reading this thread I don't know what people expected, sony is pretty stacked till mid next year at this point and this is pre tgs, people always build these shows up beyond what they could possibly be. It was a solid show with a varied japan focused showing, big announcements and such. Solid for me knowing there's a new interest everybody's golf and I can play persona on my ps4 was enough for me.

Next year will be so much better for ps4 compared to this year, it won't even be funny.
Don't worry, it will reappear in the unveiling of PS5 conference.
