Anyone else get a Wii U for this game? I've had mine about a year now, but this game and Zelda were the reasons to own a Wii U. I'm going to say the game disc is going to stay in my Wii U for months.
Another question, what are all the control schemes that are supported? I seriously doubt the Wiimote with classic pro controller. Probably just Gamepad and pro controller?
LOL, did you get around to trying Majora's Mask 3D?I think there will be customization options that will allow you to refuel quickly. If you look at this https://youtu.be/kQ39fImCKz8?t=11m15s you can see the Doll fuel actually go up upon firing.
Oh andhey bro, how you been
Oh snap, you can use the classic pro controller? Awesome news.
Quick question...
If I left my doll somewhere that's a considerable distance from my current location, is it possible to call it to my location?
So hype. The Dolls look completely amazing. Some of the monsters are just jaw-dropping. Not sure if I'll make use of the multiplayer, but I'm happy that it's there and optional.
Like someone else earlier, I'm trying to finish up Xenoblade relatively fast before this gets out. IAbout how much is left assuming I don't do too many sidequests?just got to Mechonis and was told to kill Egil.
No. Look at it again. There's a dot. When there's no dot that means "nu-uh!"
You're in the home stretch. Last 15-20% or so. Maybe a bit less, depending on where you are exactly.
Reading it now on siliconera.
The missions involves taking down numerous enemies and as each player defeats one, it's indicated by subtracting from the count.

This one is just begging for a caption of some sort.
Macrossssssssss!!!!!!!
Boo. I guess I'm going to have to get a Pro controller. Hopefully there will be a bundle with the game and the controller.

Last few months for me have been MM3D, and then RER2, and now Bloodborne, and soon the MK8/SSB DLC. So good.

HOLY shiiiiii.... at THIS GAME! Watching the stream now.
Also, did we get confirmation that Dolls can part break the enemy?
I think they can only "lock" it (the purple sphere in the video).
Alright I think I came up with a cool boss fight idea.
So we know that dolls don't operate under EM storm, we have a weather controlling enemy that induces the weather by calling out.
Start the battle in a doll, after a while, enemy summons the EM storm, forcing your squad to disembark. During this phase, you have to "part break" the part that is responsible for the induction of the EM storm to disable it. Then you go back into doll battle phase.
I'd like to see more toying with boss fights like this similar to how the final boss of Mechonis Field in Xenoblade used those cover plates.

Has this been posted yet? Siliconera has an awesome overview on how the online works.

Yep, but not only. MH3U, Bayo 2, Zelda U and the backwards compability were reasons just as equal ^^Anyone else get a Wii U for this game? I've had mine about a year now, but this game and Zelda were the reasons to own a Wii U. I'm going to say the game disc is going to stay in my Wii U for months.
- Since there's been no big new JRPGs yet on PS4/XB1 (unless you count Bloodborne, which I'd say is a different genre), this is probably the best looking game of its type out there right now.

Holy shit, wha.I know we're supposed to be focused on the mechs but did anyone else see that move Lyn did were she tore a hole in the fabric of reality.
Reading comments around the internet, people are now afraid this game focuses on multiplayer. Come on now, there is a reason they showed it last people. It's there for those that want it but not required.

They're jumping at conclusion WITHOUT reading anything.
If they read, they will know that the co-op is only for missions named Squad but you can still do them in solo.
They have been very charmingHaven't read anything about the Dolls in months, so totally just jumping in here, but what kind of limitations are on the Dolls? Can they fly indefinitely, or will I have to stop for gas or something?
Not hyped for this game yet. A big part of the first game's appeal was its characters. The current cast of X doesn't seem particularly charming.
Totally understand. And I see you're currently playing one of the greatest games of all time, which is quite exciting.Dude I want to soooo bad but I've been helping my mom get a mortgage and have kind of had to put off buying new games for the past couple of months. Not that I mind, I'm fortunate to only be 24 years old yet able to support my mom with something like this. I am currently playing a game I've had in my backlog for quite some time. I've PM'd you about it since I don't want to derail the thread
We Macross fans should stick together.Macrossssssssss!!!!!!!
I'm gonna make mechs to the colors of all The Avengers.
Or a Joker one.
UGH, I'm gonna spend hours customizing my mech!
In my limited time with the system I've exclusively used the pro controller. I can't stand the gamepad.

Even after reading that siliconera article on the networking features I'm still a bit confused.
So am I reading this correctly, you can't play with other player characters but instead you will play with an AI version of another player character?
