After all of the gray fox chico quiet david hayter release date kojima isn't really fired and then this bullshit i almost hope the game is canceled for real and you people spent years working yourselves into a mindless froth over nothing

gaf was a mistake

fixed it

The fact that he even did the interview feeds more into the conspiracy that he's in on it. And his answers...really?

"After all I've done, this conspiracy is best PR I've got" *wink* See how genius our plan is *wink*

As crazy as this "set up" is it's not crazier than this guy's "true" plan do a head transplant. IMO to see him walking out at E3 with Kojima is more likely than to see him actually going through with that operation.

video games were a mistake

the chaps at unseen64 have landed a fabled copy of the unreleased MGSV: The Phantom Pain on ebay

as they release video of the legendary long lost title, smothered in its crib by legal woes and turmoil between konami and kojima, something becomes absolutely clear

it's terrible

the mission based gameplay is horrifically padded and repetitive like the worst of peace walker, and outside of the few demoed missions where the gameplay shines best it's a tepid slog

the story is a disaster as a mute snake grimaces and mumbles one liners while miller overdramatically says corny lines about revenge that sound terrible outside of a trailer. it doesn't end with the beginning of MG1 or the appearance of Solid Snake, the explanation for quiet is astonishingly cringeworthy

the game is a technical disaster as many areas are bare and glitchy, a consequence of Kojima's overambitious vision which in retrospect is so plainly the reason for the split. luckily, most of the time playing the game is spent managing a base through menus, so this is ignored

in the outside world, barely anyone notices this unearthing of this outdated artifact. most with an interest in metal gear are too busy playing Metal Gear: Tactical Operations on smartphones and are looking forward to Metal Gear Solid: Fate Vision, the third game in an epic trilogy by ex Treyarch developers. this new trilogy plays like an Ubisoft game and each entry has handily outsold every Kojima made MGS. Konami will shut down the studio after this because they make no money. Fate Vision will be later known as one of the last games ever made for a dedicated console

So we made a Bad Future.

This whole thing is so stupid. I'd consider myself a metal gear fan but this and the team cg stuff is just embarrassing. On the same level as the stupid half life 3 internet detectivery we see all the time.

Isn't it really weird how this got him more attention than the literally thousands of articles written about the head transplant procedure over the past couple of weeks/months? I can see why he's having trouble getting money from Bill Gates.

Huh? Sue Konami? This can't be right. I think this is just him trying to make people thinking he's not involved in all of this but actually he is!

I'm serious, that's what I think.

If this Dr was concerned why did he do an interview with kotaku a gaming site but not something like BBC News or Fox something is strange.

In fairness, he is doing the right things should he be concerned about it. It should be relatively easy to determine if Konami / Kojima have used his likeness, and likewise easy to proves the likeness belongs to a completely different person since there will be evidence for whichever

I just don't understand how a head transplant can actually happen and succeed. It just has to be a troll.

Yeah, the details are absurd. "I'll use this chemical over the noodle-like neuronal conections and hope the lipids connect and the process succeeds, because it can! Right?"

Seriously, this is getting out of control.

We are not your kind of people
Won't be cast as demons
Creatures you despise

OT: Really hope the game doesn't get delayed because of the furore but I think the Dr. has a right be concerned if he feels his likeness is being used without his consent.
