The R1 in the screenshots points it to being either PS3 or PS4.

All joking aside, the UI really makes me think Ni No Kuni. The face buttons look like monsters you can summon, and the dpad looks like commands or behaviors you can call out? Can anyone read them? This game is totally Ni No Kuni, isn't it?
side note: the map reminds me of Valkyria Chronicles since I am playing VC3 right now and what's up with the timer at the top?

You say it like games where a yuri relationship takes center stage are very common.

it's gotta be auto attack. unless you hold a trigger to toggle between the face buttons. L1 plus face buttons are summons. face buttons without L1 are just her regular attacks. I'd prefer the latter but it's gonna be the former

Wondering if this being on all 3 systems from the start means it won't get a "plus version" like every other recent gust game seems to get

I was expecting this to be more like Tales or SO style game (you encounter enemies then move to battle phase where the game becomes "action" RPG), but now I see minimaps at upper right so it may be more like Ys-style (where you won't change between battle and adventure phase). I'm interested to see which style this game has chosen.

And it's never 100% confirmed yuri. There are all sorts of love. *is cautiously optimistic* None have been so blatant before, aside from a handful of VNs. Which is why I hope it's yuri and not sisterly love or something.

And I don't mean just the art-style and such. Gust's games have always had serviceable if bland combat mechanics, but it looks as if this is way more combat focused than their past titles and some of those screenshots have me VERY interested.

Is there going to be a crafting system in this game? I don't think Gust has EVER put out a game where you don't craft anything.
Nothing wrong, it's just that yuri has been used by developers that don't really know what to do and want the game to sell well.
