God, Amy Acker's so hot. And her character is so damned crazy looking. She's crazy hot. And crazy, which makes her sexier for some reason.

Acker is hot, no doubt. Hopefully will see her a lot this season.

That looks awesome.

Sadly, blurays of US TV shows don't make it to my country (only DVD Box sets).

What are the special features/bonus content?

It's actually pretty bare-bones. There's a 15 minute featurette, and extended pilot episode, and a gag reel. There's a couple of audio commentaries on the extended pilot and broadcast pilot. That's pretty much it. Haven't watched any of this stuff yet. Hopefully S2's BRD has more substantial bonuses. I wanna see like... hours of making-of stuff. Stuff with the cast. Etc.

I see.

I hope the featurette and gag reel make it to youtube or something.

Also, once you've seen it, please tell us about the stuff added in the extended pilot.

Thanks!

OT but looks like our boy Finch is voicing the Joker in the new DC animated Batman! Dat Nolan influence

Back on topic; that's a nice looking blu. I'm gonna do a S1 rewatch too now that it's only 3 weeks till the second.

E/ and were just keeping this thread right?

I'm making an OT for Season 2. We need an OT title.

I'm thinking...

Person of Interest S2 |OT| We're Suckers for Surveillance
Person of Interest S2 |OT| You are being watched. Every minute of everyday.
Person of Interest S2 |OT| Blowing Kneecaps Since 2011
Person of Interest S2 |OT| Time for the Kneecap Drinking Game Again!

Someone's bound to have a better title.

Season 2 should have Reese shooting people in the elbow instead of the knee. Every season, he picks a new body part and shoots that repeatedly. Come on Nolan, you know want to.

Noticed, I have the most posts in the Season 1 topic :p

Person of Interest S2 |OT| Not for the Weak-Kneed

Oh wow. Watching the extended pilot and I noticed from the very beginning there was a yellow reticule over Reese foreshadowing his own history with the Machine. Cool.

Yeah. Did Harold always have Yellow too? I kind of remember seeing when he first got the yellow. Perhaps when he first revealed himself in view of the Machine, that he knows about it/made it. Not sure, can't quite remember, maybe he had it on him the whole time too.

I really hope this is good, and if it is, I'm bringing back my old avatar.

I miss this avatar. You we're one of the first people I got in an argument on gaf with. This was back when my avatar was Jack's awaking eye from the pilot episode.

I believe he did.

Season 2: Instead of following Jacob, Ben followed Jesus

It's all I got since I don't watch the show >_>

Fucking. Get. On. It.

How can we view thread stats again? I can't remember.

Hah.

Edit: The Passion of the Kneecapper

(I like the this show is being watched btw.)

Viewership has increased here. Yeah, the show has the usual, inflated CBS ratings (which actually is now a good thing, unlike some of those other CBS shows which are horrible, but "watched"). It took awhile, but a little community is forming here.

Wonder how many seasons this thing can go without getting stale or too convoluted for it's own good.

A few votes for my OT subtitle entry :)

Also, just rewatched the pilot and here are some things I noticed:

- Pilot episode ends just like the finale (Reese alone, standing, looking directly towards a street camera)

- What does the yellow reticule actually mean? I know it's been mentioned previously but I can't remember exactly. From what I remember, yellow means that the person is a potential thread to the machine or knows something about the machine right? I too noticed that Reese already had a yellow reticule during the beginning (when Reese was on the train)

I think it means involved with the machine, but not potential threat yet

Yellow reticule means they have some awareness of the Machine. White is an irrelevant person/civilian. White with dashes/spaces in between is someone I believe is associated with the Machine but unaware of it or is a POI. Red is a direct threat. I think that's the breakdown.

And I think that was the same street corner!

That sounds about right.

Yellow means they know about the machine, that it exists.
I think the CIA agent that found out about it, once Harold told him it existed and he should drop his search and disappear, became a yellow.

Red is someone that is on a track to destroy, disable, move, or change, The Machine.
Harold and Kara had Red on the mission to China (the Machine had to be there, or had just been there. Someone took it and killed all the Chinese workers). I think Harold's partner got a Red too at some point.
Can't remember other instances of Red.

changed since new people watching the show are here

ME turned 58 today. He surely looks younger than that.

Finch is 58? He looks like he's in his 40s. Happy bday to him. I also re-watched episode 2 today, "Ghosts". Also, I think the white with dashes/dots reticule means that the person is related in some way to the person of interest.

Just rewatched "Cura Te Ipsum", the fourth episode of the season. Such a fucking good episode. Might be one of the best endings to any procedural show I've seen (by which I mean how the case of the week ends). What I love about PoI is how consistently awesome the endings are.

Fuck man, that final scene with Benton... "Which do you think I'll regret more? Letting you live or letting you die? Andrew... help me make a good decision"... that is Reese at his most chilling. The actor playing Benton really gets the pathetic desperation across and Caviezal is pretty scary here.

Here's the ending if anyone's interested in seeing it:

Just realized that the actor that plays Nathan Ingram is also in The Dark Knight rises!
He's the politician Selina kidnapped early on
.

I knew the guy looked familiar but I just couldn't put my finger on it.

I really hope we see more of him next season. I absolutely loved the flashbacks last season.

heh, yeah.

Also think the episode near the end lets on what Reese's decision was
Mexican Prison for ALL!

"Call me!" That was hilarious

Hahahaha, yeah. I wonder if Benton regrets that decision if that is in fact what happened.

Saw a quick trailer for the new season. September 27th

And there's another Lost Veteran having a spot on this show!

Hint: Can talk to Ghosts and had a moment with his Dad. In the Past.
