Anime used to air at 4PM? It's like peering into another universe.
Let's be honest here, the way you are drawn you would probably look better in gag face.

Wapiko is a true Nonoriri. So much

What does this mean? I've figured out what the others ":username" mean, but I can't quite grasp what a :firehawk moment implies.
Mono no aware.

(tl note: mono no aware means literally "the pathos of things," and also translated as "an empathy toward things," or "a sensitivity to ephemera," is a Japanese term for the awareness of impermanence (無常 mujō?), or transience of things, and a gentle sadness (or wistfulness) at their passing.)

*watches first 25 seconds* COME ON! This is just getting ridiculous!
Could someone please gif it? I suck at it.

She has a really creepy grandfather, like should probably be on a government watch list creepy. All of the characters were really fun this episode. I'll definitely be sticking with the show. Even with its ridiculous drama it's still quite fun.

Mono no aware.

Ah, got it, thanks. I'm somewhat familiar with the idea. That reminds me that I should get around to starting Aria soon.

They keep changing these patterns, I like it.

For what is basically a glorified commercial of mountain gear, this is incredibly charming and well-done. Props to Yuusuke Matsuo, since he is really involved with the project. He did chara designs, but also was the AD for eps 1, 2 and 5, and he even did most of the KA for these (this week's episode is a solo effort of him). It's sad that he is doing a 3 minute show instead of getting to work on a proper length series that isn't Black Rock Shooter.

Huh, judging from the theatrical screenings page on the GKIDS website, it looks like the US will get their first whiff of the Hosodapocalypse at the New York International Childrens Film Festival in March.

Which I guess is nice for those who live in the New York area. Less nice for those who don't.

ED1 = ED2

Since this is helping no-one, I'm going to say ED1 > ED2, but I'm annoyed that both of them are hitting CD before Music because they're bundled with (one of the LEs of) the BD release.

Okay the 'conclusion' almost made the trudge through the middle section of this show worth it. Almost. This started out as a pretty ambitious storyline but man the momentum was lost during the middle half. I don't think it really lived up to the expectations I had during the first few episodes but it was enjoyable enough I guess. I don't really have any motivation to check out the films anytime soon though I'm sure they'll wrap up a lot of the unresolved plot lines left at the end.

I'm just happy to get it off my backlog so I can move on to something else that I've been needing to get to like Utena, Time of Eve, KnK 7 and others.

He was really involved in Idolm@ster; hell, he is still doing work for Idolm@ster: he draws the covers for all the anime-related CD releases.

Yep, pretty sad, but I'm glad something like this exists.

I did get in the cajun-approved Nurse Witch Kogumi complete collection yesterday and watched the first couple episodes. Pretty fun show so far :).

Yes, Komugi is a lovely little creation. a bit hyper perhaps, but that's groovy!
I wish it was easier to find for people who wanted to see it.

God this morning sucked. Can't wait to go home tomorrow and get Utena into my veins. Lord knows I need it.

I know the feeling. Nothing like going home and relaxing to some animu. Or even just talking on here about your plans to watch and barely watching any at all XD

Cyberteam in akihabara

Has Anyone here watched Cyberteam in akihabara ?

I want reviews

A looooong time ago. I do have it sitting on my shelf though from when I bought the set a few years ago. Anything you wanted to know about it?

Kotoura-san - 04

Now I sit here wondering "what now?". lol

Gonna check this out soon. I forgot the airing schedule for it >_

Gundam AGE Episode 25

I'm marathoning this up to and including Episode 29 tonight because I'm feeling balsy.

Basically, evil helmet, can cause brain damage, Asemu and the gang already act without using their brains so he decides to use it anyway, Asemu gets knocked out by the helmet, Flit was angry. The End.

Next Episode: Warships, warships everywhere.

Como se diría... embriagado por el poder, quiere pegar un buen braguetazo e imponer su ley gracias a una deseada manipulación del moderador residente aquí, ¿eh? Suena a telenovela, ¡pero con tintes más 'geek'! :-D

/XX/ needs to write the animeGAF dorama.

It's a real culmination of the series moment. Not an endgame feel, but a touch on elements the series has been building up to. You've got: a serious, serious look into Gintoki's character with a bit of backstory fleshing, an all out battle with CONSTANT rises and twists to excellent, excellent pacing; one that even ends on a note that's a first for the series, and more tsuki/gin shipping fuel, which just makes everything better.

This one is actually pretty different. Definitely the most personal of arcs we've had in a long time, which is a shocker given the troll way it started.

MIRI!!!!

Is Soranowoto even a happy ending?

From what I've seen in the past, if firehawk12 likes it then the ending is most likely vague and inconclusive but if we label it as "open-ended" then it's cool.

Tamako Market 04

This show is so, so sweet. The world of Tamako Market is overtly paradisical and unrealistic bit it never fails to leave you with a glowing feeling of joy.

Psycho-Pass 15

Holy shit that was amazing. The first few minutes are extremely disturbing. Seeing the deconstruction of a "utopia" is extremely fascinating. Whenever I read dystopian novels I always found the opposition and the various lines of gray endearing. Psycho-Pass is no exception to this. It's hard to decide what exactly is right or wrong and at the same time it's hard to excuse the actions of the various people that inhabit the city. There is no right or wrong within the people. After all, who can blame their actions. This thought is fundamental when watching this episode.

Makishima is a very awesome character. Voiced by Takahiro Sakurai no less, the performance is top notch and it's hard not to believe in the words he says. A romantic, an author, and a lunatic all at the same time, I can only equate Makishima to a very... poetic and civilized version of the Joker in ways.

Stand out episode.

IT FUCKING BEGINS DUCKROLL!!!!

as well as single tit jiggle this show covered all bases! A true triumph of 90s fantasy anime that everyone must witness. Also Dark Schneider is a hilarious name.

Mirai Nikki 01
Diaries, Norio Wakamoto, shame the MC is a moron. Ragardless this has my attention!
My diary tells me what you are doing every 10 minutes you say. The diaries show future entries of whatever they were recording you say. Stalker-chan is best character

Mirai Nikki 02
More Stalker-chan being awesome! Wait did she just pull rockets from under her skirt and a motorbike? Calling this now the cop will end up sacrificing himself by the end.

Mirai Nikki 03

Oh my. Oh my. Oh wow. Hahaha.
Stalker-chan justi solidified her place as best character and there is still 6 we don't even know about.
That mailbox-peek.

GuP must be pandering to the "can almost see it but not quite" (見えそうで見えない) fetish market.
I don't even thing that is intentional but more of a side effect of the Director's "No panty shot" mantra. It seems to have worked anyway!

Haha, I'm working on it. I don't really marathon shows like many posting here seem to.
Fair enough I guess I shouldn't expect people to just watch Banner I II and III over a couple of weeks as I did. (with Banner 2 being done in a couple of days or so)

Its like I said. EVERY single show is cute now. Its so hard keeping up with, I have to actually reject cute shows at this point because I just dont have time to see it all :(

Well you're in luck, Haitai Nanafa is a 3 minute short that's plagued this season.

[Neon Genesis Evangelion] - 4-7

Ah, so now the subject of what exactly the Evangelion are is tackled. It's these sort of periphery details that I find to be so fascinating. The side-story about the investigation in the NERV operations is a nice little underlying thread that I look forward to seeing more of. I mean, it's not exactly an effective outfit, especially as it's seemingly mandatory to destroy all equipment out on a mission! I'm surprised they can even maintain a functioning economy with the Evangelion's running amok. I had gleaned a little about how this must all work democratically (or not all by, judging by what has been alluded to), but it was nice to see them touching upon those political implications. And there is some ridiculously dark humour to be found in all the back-room shenanigans taking place, especially as all of this is on the precipice of Armageddon.

It's these sort of things that really foster a suspension of disbelief for me. Because no matter how absurd this all is, I find it to be completely believable, so long as you can perceive a clear through-line to its internal logic. Even if some of these narrative devices have since been reiterated on (or devolved into tropes of their own), I'm still becoming quite appreciative of how impactful this all must have been.

Oh, and the past few episodes have had so much concentrated Misato swag!

Is this the famed midlife crisis? The guy's pretty nice, I'm hoping for some kinda Happy End for their relationship.

Why this so frigging' good.

LOL Griffith
so shooked his BFF leave him

Now shit just got real.

Yep this one of the best animes I've seen and one of the rare few with a good ending.

It doesn't have fancy animation or a huge budget but it really shows how a good written story is what matters.

Psycho-Pass has entered critical state. I'm being completely serious. This episode was indicative of why the show shines. The plot is truly moving forward.

Zetsuen no Tempest 16

I think I'm beginning to accept this show for what it is. Just mindless dramatized fun. I really hate Mahiro but I really enjoy Yoshino's presence throughout. I'm not a big fan of Hakaze and her stupidity but the dynamic between the two is interesting. It's also important to note that whenever Aika shows up, the episode gets infinitely more interesting. In this particular case, Aika and Yoshino's relationship with each other doesn't get developed upon, but rather Yoshino's underlying character is hinted at. Why exactly is he so frightening and why are the other characters in the show so frightened of him.
