Too tall.
Awesome aside from that though.

That 2nd one is still considered classic and he has been redesigned more than that.
I would switch great and fantastic imoGood.
Great.
Fantastic.

Interesting, did they do a redesign of his original skylander look? I remember it looking alot worse. Can I post the exact opposite: an awful re-design (IMHO).
1998
Nowadays (in Skylanders)
Spyro just looks weird now.
Pit from Kid Icarus.
Right answer, wrong redesign.Jill Valentine (Resident Evil)
Uncle Dante from DMC4 is best Dante..you'll saying otherwise are wrong.
Dante from Devil May Cry to DmC.
Went from alright to my favorite character design in all of gaming. What a badass

Pit from Kid Icarus.
Impa, from the Legend of Zelda games
Went from old granny
to someone that could pass as a Platinum character
Lara Croft:
Original Dante gets progressively cooler looking as he gets older.DMC4 Dante is good but the best Dante is DMC2 Dante
In all fairness, these are two different Impas down the family line so it makes sense for them to look this different. The way they suddenly twisted the norm to make her a younger, more agile fighter with a huge sword was ridiculous.
Indeedyeah this is why SS Impa is the best Impa
it uses both version of Impa really well and both have great designs
Pit from Kid Icarus.
I came here to post this, glad someone did!
The Ys 7 design is simply the best.
Ys VIII will be an improvement over Celceta's design, at least.
No, in BG2 she was a Fighter/Druid. She could wear plate.
Fuck no.
Fat Pikachu FTW.
Damn straight.Dante from Devil May Cry to DmC.

to a redesign so good, it took him from relative obscurity to getting so popular that he got a sequel using said design.
I'm not sure what they do in the actual games to create this effect, BJ also feels like he's a ridiculously huge guy compared to everyone. Maybe its the occasional comments about thing like certain clothing might not fit him or other comments early in the game, but it persists the whole way through the game. Its not something I feel when playing as Master Chief, unless they put right next to a human. Maybe the camera is really high up compared to normal, or the fact that he occasionally use brute force to get out of bad situations. Machine Games really did a great job across the board with Wolfenstein.
Wow, sounds amazing. It wasn't just the visuals, it was everything about The New Order's representation. The voice actor was absolutely perfect. His writing was impeccable, as a meathead with a heart of gold. They literally could not have done a better job bringing the character into the current generation.

Monkey Island has been going up and down for awhile but I think The Curse Guybrush was a great redesign
RE4 Leon was a massive downgrade on RE2 Leon IMO. Rookie cop > cocky government agent.
REmake Wesker was the best Wesker. I don't mind RE5 Wesker from a design point of view, but by then RE was so far gone it just became...weird.
Also, Baldur's Gate 2 Jaheira > Baldur's Gate Jaheira.
Las Plagas and chill.
I like the design in SS much more than HW, and something tells me I'm not alone.
Yes.
