Almost 20 million in the Marvel official channel alone:

https://youtu.be/K4zm30yeHHE

14 million from the guy that was smart enough to upload it before everyone else:

https://youtu.be/ghCn-ciHS5M

And then it goes to reach 40 million with other uploads like the PlayStationEU channel upload (1.6 million), MKIceAndFire channel upload (1.1 million), theRadBrad channel upload (1.8 million), Play4Games channel upload (1.2 million), PlayStation US channel upload (720k), etc, etc.

Biggest superhero game ever incoming?

man I hope this game is good

please be good

let us pray

People who think this doesn't have a chance at 10m if all goes right have NO idea what they are talking about.
I feel like it'll easily be the best selling Sony exclusive when it's all said and done

edit: PS4 exclusive if that wasn't clear

Depends on how good the game is. But I also feel like in general youtube videos and especially videogame videos are getting more and more hits. A few years back it might have been on gametrailers and ign and proprietary video players.

Spiderman is the most beloved and popular superhero worldwide afterall. I mean its no contest really, he ranks exponentially higher than all of the Avengers combined with Star Wars thrown in.

If anything looks potentially strong starring him, you better believe the world will be watching.

Even if the game is only decent it's going to do insane numbers. It's actually more scary to think how well this game could sell if it's great and is released close to Avengers Infinity War too.

What's the best selling exclusive game (not inc. bundled) these past ten or so years anyway?

I mean, the Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite story trailer (released just last month) has like 9 million views -- this Marvel stuff just flies on YouTube, but it doesn't necessarily translate into game sales as that game has proved.
This is probably going to do very, very well though.

Which video?

In any case, it was 100% an ad then, because there is no way that game reached 9 million views in any trailer without ad views.

This game is going to be the next game that really moves PS4 hardware. Most people who want GoW or TLoU2 have the system already. This will make it even bigger among older kids/young teens.

It's interesting.

It's kind of commendable that Sony tries to buy into these type of franchises by paying for development. Spider-Man, Street Fighter V, etc.

But it can kinda bite them in the ass...Microsoft is doing it smarter by getting established and critically acclaimed games after they are out, like PUBG, while we really have no idea if Spider-Man will do well or have trouble sticking the landing like Street Fighter V.

I am very excited as a life-long Spider-Man fan. Takes a certain kind of dedication to be reared on Maximum Carnage and the original Clone Saga and still fall in love with a character.

It is Spider-Man. The most popular superhero in the world. It will land fine.

With the right marketing this game can be huge .
People love spidey WW.
Yup, so much potential for this to be absolutely massive.

The trailer felt like watching a cinematic movie. It was fantastic. This will probably one of the highest selling superhero games of all time.
Agreed, the first gameplay looked stunning. The visuals, animation, and lighting looked so spot-on and even the music themes seemed like they nailed them.
