For those of you out of the loop, the first single off of the album was Power ft. Dwele (Produced by Symbolyc One and Kanye West). After that, was Runaway ft. Pusha-T, which he debuted at the VMA's. This is the live version with additionally sampling, with a performance similar to that at the VMAs. Ye has shot a 40 minute music video for Runaway, which you can now stream from his website. On top of that, Ye has been releasing a new track every Friday as a part of the G.O.O.D. Fridays incentive. Songs include:

that's not the worse of it. G.O.O.D. Music artists (Kid Cudi, Kanye, Big Sean, etc) were going to release a lot of albums on the same day but that idea was nixed of course.

I didn't think that Jay + Kanye thing was going to be an album. I thought it would be a mixtape. Oh well. :D

I think that some of these were made back when the next album was "Good Ass Job" and some are b-sides. Because yeah, much better than your average mixtape.

Meh. Nearly every official album track released so far has been overproduced and a continuation of the depreciation of lyrics that started on Graduation. Maybe there's a better mastered take of Runaway, but it currently sounds quite bad with no energy, off tune singing AND rapping,etc.

Throwing ballerina dancers and full piece orchestras doesn't hide his lack of ability. I'm expecting another step back with this album, just like Graduation (which of course had great production but overall was quite an average album).

you noticed this too? Graduation was his worst rap effort and I didn't listen to the autotune LP.

Late Registration > College Drop Out + Graduation.

I'd like to see where this new album is. Power's beat is okay. Average Kanye lyrics. All of the Lights is straight FIRE. Once again, average Kanye lyrics but over a MONSTER beat. I've never listened to Lost In The World for I'm trying to avoid leaks. (Too bad it did not work for me and All of the Lights. :lol)

Runaway, I feel -- the whole thing is reminiscent of 808s and Heartbreaks. The concept, the beat itself, emotion, etc. I'd wish the actual version would have kept the samples that Kanye used during the VMAs/SNL performance, but eh, it still does a good job. I think if Pusha T was not on the track, I would not appreciate Runaway as much as I do. By the way, Pusha has been MURDERING every G.O.O.D. Friday track he's featured in. I implore you guys to listen to them if you haven't.

I don't put 808s and Heartbreaks to any Kanye album comparison because that album was pretty different. I did not like it at first, but after a few listens I came to appreciate it a bit more better. Not everyone's cup of tea, but it definitely does its job.

I liked it alot too. It was fun all the way through. Now, i do prefer his rap albums (Late Registration 4lyfe), but its still good outing

And I'm so ready for this CD. I can't wait for the finished version of Lights, and I'm digging Runaway. I just love his beats sooooooooo much

Can't wait for this. I've liked pretty much everything I've heard from him recently - the Good Friday tracks have been incredibly solid - hell, one of those tracks even made me like Nicki Minaj with her insane verse on Monster.

I also cannot wait to hear the final version of All of the Lights. The leaked demo is great.
