Trap mumble rap whatever it is barely qualifies as hiphop in my opinion. It's pop music, don't stress about the lyrics.
On that note, the beat and flow sound identical to fifty million other songs out there, except it's a female vocalist. Good on her for finding success and working hard, but christ almighty this track is boring.
I hate the "won't somebody think of the children" mentality, but don't you think music like this normalizes aggressiveness and violent behavior? I like my dumb and sexy songs, that's ok, but maaan, this is the No1 single in america and I don't see the positive side here.

The president calls professional athletes sons of bitches and mocks disabled reporters. Modern America doesn't care about profane language as long as they resonate with the message. Hell, kids are raised on YouTube channels as much as cartoons now and youtubers have little to no hesitation using profanity.
I don't mind personally. The concept of "curse" words seems archaic.
