I wonder if this episode is more meta than first observation

I know Dan Harmon feels a lot of pressure on this show I wonder if he could himself in the place of Dean's in tonight's episode

Love Britta's wavy hair again

And Jeff impersonated Ned Flanders to me more than Dean Pelton in his first impersonation

Frazzled hair up Annie reminded me of Annie from Season 1 during the Duncan Theory experiment

His role was supposed to be sympathetic as it was funny, but I think it would be lost on some people.

Is it just me, or does Britta look extra glowing this episode? All her scenes, she looks really stunning.

And to the episode itself: what an awesome episode. And it's Captain Awesome approved, too.

I totally got that vibe as well, but I think it's accidental. The target of the spoof is definitely Hearts of Darkness.

This was amazing. This is going to be a better season than 2 was. Hopefully it won't be the last, but at least it'll end on a bang if it is.

When the last episode of this half airs, they NEED to have some sort of reference to Christmas break and have one of the characters say how it's "going to feel like forever before we see each other again". Or reference it when it comes back. This show is so meta, it has to reference itself. AD did it and it was amazing.

"I don't think the HBO is going to want us. I guess it's showtime."

True, but the part about Chang being an understudy for Jeff as Pelton seemed Synecdoche influenced, and they referenced it before in Messianic Myths.

If I hadn't just recently watched AD, I wouldn't have got that joke... but unfortunately that didn't work out either for em

Actually...despite it's generic name, City College is one of the better colleges in NYC. It's the top CUNY college we have, as well as the oldest.

The shot on my tv wasn't that large, and I even paused it there just to be sure the second time around. I think it's because his hair looks darker than it would as Awesome. His voice was what made me stop and take notice the first time.

The whole 3rd season was filled with/was entirely a meta joke about the situation they were constantly in.
