AE: Daigo & Infiltration in losers
Marvel: Chris G & FChamp in losers
Melee: Mango & Armada in losers
KoF: Romance & Reynald in losers
Injustice I haven't followed. :(

The 2011 money matches were some of my all time favourite Evo moments. The after hours shit they got now doesn't compare. No high end talent.

America won initially, but Yume and Bananaken had another money-match and Yume won 5/1 [might have been 5/2, I can't remember], winning it for Japan.

So I guess, technically, it's a draw. Yume won a nice amount of money for himself, though.

Sako gotta be the favorite to win AE, but I'll be rooting for Rog.

Did Sim get Major buffs? I'd be nice to see Champ back in SF4, bodying Daigo.

A lot of players are sponsored so they can't go around doing salty suites type stuff. But I sure miss the old days of Art about to destroy Daigo in a money match only to let him come back with a c.hp into super.

AE is going to be stronger than ever with the new update. With the new changes and characters, next year's EVO is going to be even more insane.

Yeah, and Marvel will have its update, and...oh, right. :-(

Hopefully we get a cool announcement at SDCC (Darkstalkers or CAS).

I never put stock in something a person says right after losing a match.

I can see Rog dropping Marvel for Injustice. Seems like Injustice is going to be at MLG later this year.
He also got Top 8 in Injustice

So, special presentation is where they'll announce the Marvel patch, I guess, since they didn't announce it at the panel. and bed time now

It seems that people will shift their focus away from Marvel after Evo. Which is fair because the game has gotten pretty stale. The other games are still getting new content and updates.

When will Capcom get that Marvel licence back? :(

He said that before even playing at EVO. Quite a few contingent of players will quit after this year's EVO. While UMVC3 will still be at EVO next year it won't be as hype and it won't have as much entrants. AE on the other hand will be bigger and crazier next year.

We got 3 good EVOs out of the game and I am very happy for that. But now is where the specialists will take over and the moonlighters will start to dwindle... unless you are Justin Marvelous Wong and Christopher Genius. I can totally understand some of the more mid tier players quitting at this point in the game.

It's kind of a strange situation because unless Capcom releases a new fighter in 2014, we're going to be in a situation where a lot of Marvel heads might not have a place to go.

It kind of makes me curious how games like KI will be.
