Wildcard berths that can't beat teams without a winning record should have homefield advantage
If this leads to Bryan actually taking down HHH and company at WM and him and the entire family family turning face then it'll be one of my favorite things in years.

They were faces all along would be a good twist.

Will never happen. Vince would get tired of it by Rumble.

I knew this would happen from the start. Eventually he will break away and him and Cena will have a rematch except Bryan will be a heel. Cena Zack Ryder'ed his pal.

Yeah this is an obvious setup for a redemption angle down the road. I'm fine with this.

Goat mask incoming

Honestly, It's making me care about whatever the fuck they had going on with the Wyatts and that's something.

But just like everything, it's all about the payoff. The fact that this closed the show means, Bryan is gonna be completely important to the Rumble.

Imagine if this does turn them all face and WM does end up being HHH/Bryan and Cena/Wyatt with both Bryan and Wyatt taking care of both of them after Cena becomes the guy for the McMahons.

Aughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh so much greatness could be done if they would just do it!

Dont worry guys Good Guy michels is going to give Bryan his smile back

While it should a set-up for an amazing redemption story, I have absolutely zero faith in the WWE to actually do it right.

If it goes towards making Bryan's character more than a chant I'm all for it. Have them ruin H/Stephanie's Royal Rumble main event.

These dilusional db marks still see a Cena v Bryan feud lol

Listen this is happening to bring down Bryan to midcard status

They are tired of his Yes crap that was too over in 2013, he had his

time, he won the title multiple times already no long run but he got it

now down to put over the young talent.

This is the beginning of the Wyatt's becoming an anti hero face group and if done right it would be great. Problem is WWE has 100 writers and a senile old man running creative and they suck at payoffs. Oh well I still think this is an interesting turn and will watch with interest.

Being WWE this has a high chance of ending badly but I don't care.
It's a nice story! It makes perfect sense that Bryan would want to tear down the machine right now. Maybe the Wyatts will turn face, similar to their goodbye speech to NXT. Or at least it'd make a good redemption story for Bryan. Either way, I approve.

Wasn't the redemption angle for Bryan to win the Rumble? I don't see how this does anything but get him completely out of the main event picture. Bryan being a puppet to fight "the machine" is stupid. Bryan is one of the few guys that I think actually plays a good babyface, and much better then most of the main event scene. But like it's been said, we can't have fans chanting for the guy they want instead of Cena and Batista at WM now :-/

They couldn't have Bryan more over that Cena and Batista on the road to WM, I guess.
^This

Daniel Bryan's burial is now complete. This was embarrassing. Can't have him getting bigger pops and chants than Cena and Batista, better bury him by turning the audience against him. Did you hear that "Nooooooo" from the crowd when he finally walked off? Never heard something like that before in WWE. The fans fucking loved him.

Hey Vince, Survivor Series had the lowest buy rate for SS of all-time. Dbry wasn't in the main event, was he? Fuck this company

How to do it right:

1. Bryan fights for the Wyatts, gets made to do bad things and puts on some great matches.
2. Eventually turns, sets up a big match with Bray as he takes out the underlings.
3. Comes out at WM to the final countdown entrance music.

I'm actually okay with this because of how fucking weird it is. I just hope it leads to something big for DB.

I'm in favor of this.

Thought the rationale of him joining the Wyatt made sense given the rest of the developments from tonight. DB spent more than half a year trying to get the title, Lesnar shows back up in one night and gets dibs on the belt because of the authority.

You know what? I'm okay with this.

YES! The perpetually pissed off, determined, spiteful Bryan we all loved watching last summer is coming back! And he's with one of my favorite mic guys. So long as they don't completely phone in the coming months, it should be entertaining as hell.

bryan is so buried they gave him a 40 minute match on raw. who cares where he is on the card if we get more main events like this one. this just makes me think he his fighting shawn at mania. this is his JBL's slave angle.

this is my front runner for big botch of 2014

Would let Tony Parker sleep with his wife
I can say this now because nobody checks GAF for news:

The Wyatts/Shield is penciled in for Mania then the Shield breaks up the night after

The real silly thing is all of this stems from...Vince personally thinks Bryan is too short for his liking. All of it is based on Vince's "I don't want to see him on a poster personally, so that's that" thing.
