Story

Naruto Storm 4 picks up in the midst of the 4th Great Shinobi War. It's basically been implied it is the last "Storm" game. CC2 could always be put onto another Naruto game but it wouldn't be another Storm game, it would likely be them doing a refresh with a new fighting style or something of the sort to make it different from Storm.

It's more like Storm 3 except cutting a lot of the fat. It has actual in-game cutscenes and so on. Not sure if it'll have the linear "free roam" sections Storm 3 had as it sounds like that's been relegated to a new mode called Adventure Mode.

So far, yeah no other way. Unless they pull a Xenoverse and shove them into the last DLC pack to give it more value like they did Jaco (he was a pre-order bonus in Japan for Xenoverse). But that didn't happen until at least a month before they began to talk about Xenoverse's Pack 3 details. With how Bamco has been very open about the details about these packs for Naruto it leaves very little wiggle room to throw in Boruto and Sarada as well.

So if you want a complete roster you have to pre-order. :/

We've been in fillers since IDK when and now they're making some 'what-if' alternate reality fillers, they really are stretching it to the max since they know the anime is ending, but at this point...it's ridiculous.

Me and a friend aren't even taking a look anymore because we assume it's ALWAYS fillers. When we take a chance and check, well, we're proven right every time. :lol

On topic: Can't wait for this game, I hope it'll be a better game than its predecessor, Storm 3 left me hungry after the perfection that was Storm 2.
