what they will probably do is lock the purchase behind a VPN like with other games. Seems like an oversight / mistake in this case.

Well, depends on Warner Bros really. It could happen. At the moment not a single of the subs of keys for Arkham Knight are region locked. So even russian keys are region free. That can change however. That said, Nuuvem will refund you if that happens, as the purchase is available for international buyers. (you don't have a right to a refund because of region lock if you purchase through VPN).

I've seen people complaining on release day about not having keys.... It's not like I haven't experienced that issue with GMG.

well it depends on publisher and demand

it didnt happen with GTAV which were in time for preload, it did happen with MKX for some people, which the whole PC release was a mess

Because we feel entitled to a deep discount before the game's even out. And then we complain about DLC, microtransactions and publishers being greedy and whatnot. There might be alleviating circumstances for some, but that's not me. I feel I should pay what's fair, AKA around what a new PC game usually costs, not the least amount possible. Assuming the game's not some manner of shit, in which case I won't pay anything at all. Which is another thing. Pre-ordering is generally dumb.

it's just the price in brazil, they're not necessarely selling it for much cheaper there

but whereas steam games are region locked to run and gift; most cd keys arent, so this works

The typical "AAA" release goes for 99,99 Brazilian real on Nuuvem.
