I'm guessing there's no way to get into the beta if it's not available in my region? I'm so keen to play, I loved SARPBC and all these gifs are killing me.

I would think a good enough goalie would also know how to position themselves and hit the ball to help put the ball into less dangerous areas after making the save. Having a team that helps clear rebounds is also very important.

I don't think those alone would necessarily be enough to shut him down, but I just think a team should be able to greatly minimize he chances at scoring off rebounds if they're good enough defensively. Though playing that defensively could also hurt your number of offensive chances.

Did you see how many of those icons in the top right are goals directly after he's made a save? They'd have to be good enough to beat the counter attack too.

I realize that, I'm just saying I think it's possible to be good enough defensively to deal with even really good players and teams.

Yeah, but it isn't always possible. I've played against him with poor teammates and basically been a keeper. I've made save after save and he's made great shot after great shot, eventually you just can't put it wide enough anymore without your teammates getting to rebounds.

I might be in the minority but I hope text chat gets cut from the final version. If I don't want to hear voice chat I can mute or put myself in a private party, but I can't avoid the text chat. Played in the first beta without it and within the first 2 or 3 matches of the second beta after the text stuff was implemented someone on my own team was calling me a "fag" after I made 2 saves and a goal.

Wow, these are amazing.

How long does it take to get that good?! I will be pretty much free over the summer, I might play this quite a lot as it seems to be similar to Smash - low skill requirement to play but also high level play is a possibility.

Man now that I got like a day or two before I have to get back to studying for the rest of my exams... There's no Rocket League. :(

The platinum seems super easy to achieve IMO. The only worry would be getting the items, but they've said you would get one per game, so... (unless there's duplicates lol)

Not that I mind, I was going for it even if it was the hardest platinum ever but I wanted a challenge :p
