More like cheerleader. He seems to have a strong urge to constantly provide free advertising for Microsoft, even with his avatar, which he changed to Tomb Raider the minute this "exclusive" was announced.

You think that's bad?
Remember the time i was [activity] with [person] while the [something silly] occurred?
Can we stop using this gif as a dig (or, more likely, an implication of his 'fakeness') whenever his name pops up? Criticise the guy's methods by all means if you must, but not like this. Also, try maybe film a video of yourself smiling for hours then pick out some 'comedy highlights' from those moments when your face muscles just can't take it anymore.
I do find Xbox's reaction to promotion deals held by other companies to be odd.
Xbox has plenty / has had plenty of 3rd party promotion exclusivity and Sony, as far as I know has never attempted these methods to circumvent restrictions.
I wonder if this video will be removed like the Destiny fragrance ad. Well I can't blame MS for trying to get a piece of the pie. Battlefront is going to end up being one of the biggest third party partnerships this fall.
No one else does it, it seems rather small time and desperate.
Who the hell is A. C. Bongos?

Why on earth would people get butthurt over a corporation light heartedly poking fun at a deal made between two other corporations that says one corporation has exclusive rights to advertise the other corporation's product?
Honestly think about it, unless you have a personal stake in said corporations, it's a stupid thing to care about.

Didn't find it funny. :/
when even the pr mouthpiece of ms use the usual Victimisation on gaf(its because its xbox, this is sonygaf yaddayadda),you know we have reached a new low
i find odd that after the mattrick debacle and phil spencer new direction this guy still have a job,in some ways is the personification of some of the problems MS past years
MS I'd say he meantwho is butthurt here? ms for the sw deal? the people who dont find funny? or you in the defense of the ad?
Why is everyone so serious? Its just a light hearted video which he got asked to make and this thread is full of pointless, childish, personal insults.
Grow up.
They are the only one doing it, it comes across as small time and bitter.
When lack of market share hurts the ability of your wealth to buy friends, lash out in faux comedy, pretend we aren't bitter video skit or "perfume" add.
Look at all the deals MS got last gen, Sony didn't bat an eyelid, did their own stuff and still matched the 360 for console sales.
That's how you do it, not with Phil Spencer saying we don't care what the competition does and then release this.
Better than Boyles in the X-Wing, that's for sure.

I'm not, unlike people in here, I watched this smiled because of its attempt at humour, and got on with ny life. Why are you so serious?
I would imagine the person at Sony who worked to get that Battlefront marketing deal doesn't think the video is just light hearted.

Exclusive footage capture of that marketing rep after watching this video...

Won't someone please think of the deal brokers.
Major told the truth at least.
It's sad, a lot of Microsoft/Xbox threads turn into 1-4 pages of trolling and some even get locked because they are so bad.
They're poking fun at something gaf largely thinks is anti-consumer. Don't be so upset by it.
I'm not upset, just pointing out the difference in behaviour. I particularly don't care from an emotional standpoint, its just a silly video but its interesting to study for the reaction of MS to these events and the two different narratives coming out of the company.
Also exlcusive promotion deals are not anti consumer.
If that is the case, surely the TR threads should be full of that narrative also.
