Seriously considering picking Don't Starve, haven't played it yet. I'm not sure if it'll really hook me. Is there any game it could be compared to? Or any noteworthy mechanics to check whether it's worth playing?

I haven't been able to buy shit on ps4 for weeks.

I remove and re add my PayPal, have no trouble elsewhere. My wife used it today as well.

Why doesn't Sony want my money?

...Annnnd the Playstation Store won't let me check out. Tried both a card and Paypal, tried adding and removing stuff from my cart, tried restarting my browser, tried it on my phone... nothing. :(

Edit: And googling just seems to show people with this issue saying "man, this sucks, and customer service has been completely unable to help me." Also, turning off WiFi in case it was my router or whatever also did nothing.

Guess I'll just try waiting.

I think there is something going on with the PlayStation store as I've had this problem using the ps4, the vita, the web store, and the android app.

Nothing fixes it other than buying a prepaid card..

No Corpse Party sale is surprising. Was hoping to get the previous games before buying the new one. Will wait till Halloween for hopefully another sale.

think there was a sale leading up to the release of Blood Drive. the two PSP games were at $10 each if I remember correctly

Virtue's Last Reward for $10? I'm all over that. Want to replay it again some time next year with the english dub. The European version shockingly doesn't have it.

Damn it. And you like Until Dawn. I was hoping this will be like Until Dawn but I guess not?

I went into the game blind expecting an exploration game where you interact with tons of things in the environment and maybe do some light puzzle solving. What I got was a game where you can flip light switches, open some doors, and watch balls of light talk to each other. Along with the slowest walking animation in gaming and a crappy save system. This was not the game for me. I think Soma is the game I wanted to play.

I'd like to buy some games, but PSN keeps telling me my card information is incorrect. But it is. It's an issue on Sony's side. The PlayStation Forums have a few threads with a lot of others having the same problem.

Just buy the points cards on amazon. Really, you should never give your credit card to Sony.

I went on my US account on PSN to have a look at the deals & I noticed GTA V was on sale for $40 which is €35. Decided I'd get that instead of Everybody's Gone to the Rapture. Been waiting for a good price.

OK this sounds really weird - I was just watching a YouTube video on my phone in the YouTube app. I didn't touch the screen at all and the video stopped and a webpage for the PlayStation network login appeared but the HTTPS section of the url was crossed out in red.

It feels like something is going on.

At the very least, I can say that the HTTPS being crossed out in red is normal for the SEN site. It's been that way for a while now. Sony's been using an outdated SHA-1 SSL certificate for some time.

I bought Virtue's Last Reward based purely on how much great things I've heard about it, though I know nothing about the game and I despise almost all anime stuff. Something about it just likes like it has crazy potential though. Here's hoping I don't regret this decision.

Damn, I'm $1 short from getting both Ys Seven and ZHP. Might get ZHP for now since I already played and finished Ys Seven before and I just want a digital version playable on the Vita.

@gaf, anyone wants to trade my NA PSN 20% discount code with your Uncharted preorder 10% discount code?
I bought two without knowing that you can only use one discount code for one account.
Please note that if you have redeemed 20% discount code from gamedealdaily.com once, you are unable to redeem anymore 20% discount code from gamedealdaily.com in that same account.

it really is a lot of fun! can't really make a good comparison, since it's one of those crafty/roguelike things, and I wasn't a fan of both so far. there's something kooky how you can approach survival in this game. I usually keep my hideout near a village of pigs, feed them berries so I can use their poop to fertilize my crops.

Like a fool, I bought $20 of digital PSN space bucks from GameStop. Here's the kicker: I have to wait up to 12 hours for them to "review" my order. What?! I forgot Amazon sells the points, else I would have bought from Bezos.

Had most of the big games already. Went in for White Night and Lone Survivor. Lone Survivor I've seen before, hoping White Night is good.

Do you need to have played 999 to play VLR?

It's not really necessary...

But I would highly recommend going through 999 first if you have a DS or willing to watch it online. Quite a few of the twists in VLR will have a much, much better payoff having played 999 first.

999 was better than VLR overall (in respect to cast, story, and atmosphere, though the soundtrack was about even in spite of largely being used better in 999, and YMMV on puzzles), and many of the revelations/elements foreshadowed in the game will carry more weight if you're familiar with 999 ahead of playing VLR. Still worth playing, but if you are interested into getting into the Zero Escape series, I would recommend starting with 999 first, especially now that the final game to close out the trilogy is on the way. May as well check out both of the previous games before then.

Regardless of whether you play it for yourself, or if you only watch a walkthrough (I would still very much recommend experiencing it for yourself, though), just make sure that it's the DS version. Accept nothing less.

Have you trying purchasing the games on the actual systems?

It is absolutely not like Until Dawn. Rapture is a walking simulator in a beautiful environment, good music and a fine story/Narrative and like zero gameplay beside the walking. Fine if you like this Kind of game, otherwise it is boring.
