Futari Wa Precure 27

This episode is a bit of a
reset
.
After
defeating (or supposedly defeating) the dark king, the Garden of Light is restored.
However
the Dark Kingdom planted seeds of destruction in places, so its not really destroyed.
One of them ends up on Earth where it turns into a dude with some major roid rage.
Also, a little mascot way cuter than Mepple or Mipple shows up and gets lost in the city.
Roid rage guy finds him and tries to attack, but the Precures get there in time to save him.
Porun owns.

Actually, here's a picture of the adorable little guy.

bad gameplay lol
Change!!! is a good song, especially considering the 2nd OP curse, but, yeah, in the end READY!!! is the better of the two.

2nd OP curse isn't always a thing. Bleach and Naruto had way superior OP2s (though in Bleach's case, OP3 was even more superior...wouldn't know about anything past that since I stopped watching during OP4, and I never actually watched Naruto, I just love Haruka Kanata). And Keroro Gunsou had a superior...uh...OP9. Because Jam Project.

I don't think the curse applies to long-running shows considering they can have like almost a dozen of them if they go on for that long.

Yes that was an otome adaptation.

Take your otome lead (that one), throw in one setting (past Japan), add in a bunch of guys (who are all brothers), and they do stuff etc etc. Doesn't help that half the guys are basically pricks so why should I care about otome lead wooing them.

Being an hour long OVA definitely didn't help either.

So in this episode, we have the battle against Ashram and Shooting Star inside the Fire Dragon Mountain. We're gearing up for the final battles with Spock and Karla, now, so its no surprise that several high profile characters pass in this episode. Also, the red head's name is Shiris, which I had forgotten until now. Amazing how you can go episodes and not know someone's name.

Ill miss young Hyobu, he was really funny, fun, and just one all around good kid with excellent performance. Loved that moment above when his eyes did that as well as later on in the intense torpedo pursuit. I wish this series was 24 episodes as we could have spent more time with them in these elite forces of yesteryears. The style of the big moment was great with the red's and blacks and his eyes.

Those character designs are amazing, especially the one at the bottom left and right, guess I better add, otome adaptation?
Well, if you're in it for the guys, they're there. :p

Didn't I tell you? lol

Dont remind me, I still struggle to even look at screencap recaps of the episode, and this (ep spoiler, maybe)fanart keeps appearing :/

I saw your post talking about how you felt after watching the episode, I don't agree with you in a lot of the things I've seen you post, but that was a touching post. I've read the manga and I knew it was going to happen, it still made me cry

Awwww, what a heart warming episode about Madoka learning the fear of losing someone. We also got to see Muginami and Lan branch out from Madoka a bit, too, which was nice. Astoria or whatever creeps me out with her constant groping of Madoka, but I guess that's to be expected of the yellow power ranger. Gettin' real sick of the boy in the maid costume. It's kinda worn out its welcome as a gag.

Totally ready for some intense fights in the next two episodes. This has been a fast paced, fun show. And it's very colorful, too!

To think that not even a demon with the magical power level of 4 Tokyo Domes and a master in the Ninja art of Arm Cloning couldn't stand up against such a technique, how terrifying!

Alrighty, time to give this a shot since I'd never sat through it, instead opting for the movies. Watching the Zeta: New Translation movies had me wanting to revisit the Zeta TV series but I figure I should do this first.

That said, and this might be my bias towards the series showing, but that was a great opening ep. Just right to business.

Hibari is really fucking useless. Why the fuck is she even there besides to be a pair of tits that acts like a 4 year old?

My god. I just spent today reading the entire lolis in video games thread front to back.

And the Kotoura-san thread front to back.

And watched up to episode 6 of Kotoura-san.

I just don't know what to think of people sometimes. It feels like, outside of my niche, everyone hates everything I love and loves everything I hate. Definitely feel in a minority about stuff.

That's not to say I love the heck out of Kotoura-san. It's one of those average anime every season has. There's some story flaws in the opening, and while I don't all like the direction it took, it isn't horrible, just average. I'm probably enjoying it twice as much as I normally would because of all the notoriety. Which thanks to, I've gotten pretty into the show when I probably would have dropped for a while otherwise.

But my god the hate some things get. It gives me the opposite feeling. It makes me want to appreciate even the most mediocre anime given the undeserved hate they sometimes garner.

I started with Futari Wa Precure.
Im not sure if I should skip the second season and watch SplashStar or not. Ive heard that one wasnt bad but Max Heart is supposedly mediocre.

I didn't like Max Heart
I loved Splashstars but it's a copy of Futari wa
Precure 5/GOGO are decent
I didn't like Fresh that much
Heartcatch is the best show ever
Suite was meh
Smile is great
Doki Doki good so far(ep 4)

Original is amazing because it's the first, I watched it back when it was being released, it was so good

Yeah Im enjoying it quite a bit. I watch anime usually at a snails pace but I have made pretty good progress with it on my off days. The problem is my off weeks are every other week and I have to work additional days. When Im working, its like 90 hours of work only separated by sleep. Not much time to enjoy anything else. Although obviously you can see it allows me a certain degree of financial freedom concerning my hobbies, so it works out I guess.

Mediocre animes deserve hate, just not the type of hate they get. A difference.

No, you just had the unfortunate experience of meeting the OT residence. It's because of those very people I even adopted an anime avatar. Knowing that this small 100x120 image pisses them off every time they see it brings a smile to my face.
