For one, how many games are there that are *much better looking* than TW2? Only a handful look better by any degree at all. Two, out of those games, which ones run better?

Well, they could show what they unveiled behind closed doors at E3 (aka a true gameplay demo). It was already impressive un june, according to journalists.

I don't think the game will release before fall 2014. There's a reason they haven't announced a clear release window yet.

We'll have to wait a bit longer for lengthy gameplay Demos.

Lower bitrate to lower the cdn costs, I guess. Still quite good quality.
The version posted in the op is straight from cdprojekt's FTP, no reencoding.

that's because references are real areas and cities. Novigrad - medieval Amsterdam, North - nordic countries, south - slavic countries.
