Naked German Seeks Freezer Relief as Europe Braces for Heatwave

A 32-year-old man in rural Germany disrobed and ran through the freezer section of a supermarket to cool off, one of the least severe impacts of a record heatwave that’s bearing down on Europe.

The heat is killing my

It's over 40°C at work and no AC.

I assumed it was just Northern Europe that didn’t have ac. Having heard how hot it gets in Italy during the summer I’m genuinely surprised they don’t have it.

ACs in homes is a very American thing. Barely anyone in Europe has a personal AC. Luckily we have AC at work so at least for most of the day I'm good. Otherwise its fucking hot, my car had 42°c yesterday, opened the windows and drove on the motorway and it was nothing but hot air rushing in.
