Pretty sure I have been getting taxed already here in MD, not 100 percent sure though
So what does that mean for my Canadian and US account? I am from Germany where the tax is always included.
Ah, I just checked and it is actually NY. I haven't received any emails so hopefully the taxes aren't coming lolThat will depend on what State you put on your account. Like $60 + 8% tax (NY) = 64.8 total instead of the usual $60
Of course, if taxes is really coming.

I didn't an email about it. in WA state.
VA, plz.
Just out of curiosity, if you use a PSN pre-paid card, do you get taxed on the card purchase, and/or do you get taxed on purchases using the gift card? I recently bought something with PSN credit and I did not pay tax. I live in South Carolina.

Doesn't Xbox charge tax on digital purchases already?
Is this how it's on Xbox as well?
Eh nothing can be done about this.#ForThePayers
Because in Germany it's nothing new. You already pay tax (vat) with your purchases on german psn.Didnt get this in Germany what does this mean
Digital purchases aren't taxable in CA still.
Wait nvm I think they already tax here in Washington.
Not sure tho....
You're already paying VAT. Doesn't matter to you if you don't buy from the US storeDidnt get this in Germany what does this mean
Delaware, Montana, Oregon, and New Hampshire have no sales tax.
Florida sales tax is 6%.

Yeah Sony is going to put that money into servers instead of paying to the U.S. government.
In other news Wesley Snipes was recently hired by Sony Entertainment.
Awesome.
Tired of subsidising cheap US store prices with sky high prices in the U.K.
