my assumption is that it's too similar to Destiny, so they tried to change it to something else and it just wasn't working. the game is simply not good, so they canned it.

concept art suggest co-op and if it's 'open world rpg' like it was rumored it's probably going to be like Borderlands. The market is getting crowded, it took too long though...

It looks too stupid for my taste. eh ok.

iirc that part was from famousmortimer but his snafu/implosion happened during that rumor and basically placed a lot of doubt on those events also (even if it was actually true).

I'm not sure what to make of this. It's kind of cool, like something Napoleon Dynamite would come up with, but also looks quite incoherent. I'm intrigued at least.

3 player co-op robodinosaur hunter could be fun as hell.

Needs a lot of Rpg elements for me, high level cap (100 not this 20 bullshit), lots of abilities, weapons, armour and most importantly variety and lots of content.

I just hope they don't bite off more than they can chew by making an epic campaign, co-op campaign and competitive mp and having it all come out half assed like resistance 2 or destiny.

Really glad games with unique artstyles are coming right out of the gates this gen. Really unlikely we'll see a brown bloom trend like last gen any time soon.

Teams have to hit development goals. They also, for better or worse, go through extensive playtesting.

No one that’s seen it thinks it’s a shame that the game was canceled. That sounds like a given. The surprise is that most of the team was fired.

The concept art looks really fun and outrageous. I hope the final game retains this goofy, badass spirit. I've never played anything by Guerrilla before, but I'm definitely looking forward to hearing more details. Is a TGS reveal too early?

It's far worse than that. If she has blond hair she's most likely a very capable character that gets to prove she can accomplish feats with the system. If she's dark haired it means she's intelligent (stealth games mostly). Red hair means independence and getting things done on your own terms.
