This is a terrible collectors edition. Where is the Shinkawa artbook? Soundtrack? Who gives a flying fuck about a map? And some DLC garbage like golden guns, give me a break.

The worst ones are the poorly made steel cases that make it nearly impossible to take the disc out without the danger of almost breaking it.

Such as the steelbook in the ME3 LE, which was welded by two pieces of plastic and was the biggest pain in the ass to remove. So much so that I stopped using it immediately. I really regretted getting that LE, it was truly a waste of time, but I wanted Javik...

PSA: those who want to import the Japanese Premium Package, from the official website it looks like that version will be exclusive to the Konamistyle store. The chance of it becoming available at amazon.co.jp, Play-Asia, Nippon-Yasan etc. becomes significantly smaller because of that.

Some import sites do sell Konamistyle items such as Nin-Nin-Games, but expect to pay lots of $$.

If you really need the Japanese premium edition, sign up for Tenso.com now if you haven't already, and make sure you get your account approved (you need to send them proof of ID and address because of Japanese law, this can be done simply by uploading an image to their site, they will review it and approve your account if the documents are OK*).

Once your account is approved, you get your own Japanese address that you will be able to use when pre-orders go up at the Konamistyle website. Obviously you will have to fill in everything in Japanese, so use google translate or something.

* You can censor any details that are irrelevant or you don't feel comfortable sharing, they just need to confirm your name, date of birth and address

Man I've been waiting for this to go up for hours now to preorder but I have to go somewhere for a few hours. Hopefully I don't miss it. I've bought every collector's/limited edition for this series and would hate to miss this one.

Pretty bummed that the PC won't get a physical collectors but it's not the end of the world. Save myself some money that way I suppose.

It also feels like forever away. That's over 6 months for PC players... well at least it gives me plenty of time to replay MGS 1-4. I think I'll play 1 a month when there's only 4 months left until release.

Getting this day 1. The minute gamestop puts it up, I'm preordering this bad boy. For $100 this is an amazing collectors edition.

So it seems peeps are upset that NA doesn't get a special artwork cover and also not getting the larger Bionic arm. But this doesn't bother me. I like the steelcase and smaller arm. Seems all good for an additional $40.

Source? Personally in addition to the collector's edition, I would like a ~$80 version without the bionic arm.
