why do they think that he would leave to go coach in the NFL at 65 which would be infinitely more stressful compared to his situation at Bama?
It'd be more stressful in not having complete control over everything, but he wouldn't have to recruit at all which would give him quite a bit more free time. That's the lure of college coaches to go pro. They can actually have a vacation occasionally. But yeah, he's 65, he's not going anywhere before he retires.
The stress comes in that they don't have any patience with pro teams. You have 1, 2 years max to get into the playoffs.

Seems like a weird time to abbreviate "before" and "because", especially when nothing else is abbreviated.
That, or one of his parents wrote it and included those misspellings to appear "genuine."

Clemson starts classes this week. Alabama does not. Therefore, Clemson can only have 20 hours of practice time this week, due to NCAA rules. Alabama can have unlimited practice time for the National championship. This is fair in the eyes of the NCAA.

Oregon dealt with that last year since their classes started earlier than tOSU's. Yeah, dumb rule, but it is what it is.

Alabama won more games at the Cowboys stadium this year than the Cowboys did. And they start next season there as well.

USC hires Clay Helton's brother as RB Coach/Passing game coordinator (was rumored to be in the running for OC but they hired a guy with LESS experience at that role).
And they also hired Neil Callaway to be OL coach (the same position he had at WKU this past season).
Wonder if Pat Haden is being told to save money on coaches.
We could do an over/under on posts lamenting the college game in regards to money and concussions. Is 100 posts a good bar?
