If A&M is ranked anytime before week ten next year, even if undefeated, then someone hasn't been paying attention.

But hey, we're undefeated in 2016! Gig'em!

Everyone's getting out of OSUn while they can.
Joey Bosa
Ezekiel Elliot
Cardale Jones
Darron Lee
Tyvis Powell

Will probably have others.

Wonder what happened last time we had a mass amount of players leave for the nfl....

Can't really blame them considering they could be second round picks and next year will likely be a down year due to the talent leaving.

The man is 65. Why do teams keep try to contact him..

why do they think that he would leave to go coach in the NFL at 65 which would be infinitely more stressful compared to his situation at Bama?

It'd be more stressful in not having complete control over everything, but he wouldn't have to recruit at all which would give him quite a bit more free time. That's the lure of college coaches to go pro. They can actually have a vacation occasionally. But yeah, he's 65, he's not going anywhere before he retires.

The stress comes in that they don't have any patience with pro teams. You have 1, 2 years max to get into the playoffs.

HEEEY, recruiting shit is still happening!

Cavin Ridley, Calvin Ridley's younger brother, had long been assumed to be following his brother to Alabama, most likely as an early enrollee, meaning he'd be joining the program in the next few days.

Until a few days ago, he shockingly commits to South Carolina and Coach Boom.

Figuring there was no time to change his mind, it was assumed that was that, and he'd be on the Columbia campus tomorrow.

Until he thought things through a little more and posted this

what font is that? It's not much better than Comic Sans.

Does he have a girlfriend that needs a scholarship? Ole Miss would love to have him, I'm sure.

Clemson starts classes this week. Alabama does not. Therefore, Clemson can only have 20 hours of practice time this week, due to NCAA rules. Alabama can have unlimited practice time for the National championship. This is fair in the eyes of the NCAA.

fuuuuuuck

Great recap pic of the end of the Gators' 2015 season.

That fucking sucks.

You had time to change your schedule.

The pre-excuses are already starting.

Oregon dealt with that last year since their classes started earlier than tOSU's. Yeah, dumb rule, but it is what it is.

Wasn't this the same case last year for the final? OSU had the extra time?

Ole Miss FSU to start the season is going to be rough for us with such a large unknown at qb. I hope SMAG isn't our best option.

We getting a new thread for the championship game?

I'd rather not.

Most likely and it will probably be out of the dungeon.

Ehh, I hate dealing with the general populace of this website on non sports stuff, and even dealing with some of the other sports threads can be bad.

In other news:

https://twitter.com/USC_Athletics/status/684105869353594880

USC hires Clay Helton's brother as RB Coach/Passing game coordinator (was rumored to be in the running for OC but they hired a guy with LESS experience at that role).

And they also hired Neil Callaway to be OL coach (the same position he had at WKU this past season).

Wonder if Pat Haden is being told to save money on coaches.

We could do an over/under on posts lamenting the college game in regards to money and concussions. Is 100 posts a good bar?

And the Europeans will come in and claim this isn't "football"

And shouldn't universities focus on education and not athletics?

I give it 5 posts before some genius reminds us of this.

Cyan, is it possible to get something in the OP to not bring that shit up or get banned? It's just shit posting and does nothing to further the level of discourse. If anything, it's something we all have to wade through for the first days of the thread so we can get to the prime CFBGAF posts that we all come here for.

CFB Playoff |OT| Kiffin's Klempson Korner

I wonder if Tosh will do a special on Kiffin again.

I look forward to having a brief move to the OT. Having CFB in the community forum feels like a "safe space". It's time to venture out into the unknown and untamed.

I like an influx of new posters for champ threads. There are always lots of fans that have something to contribute.

Unfortunately this year it just resulted in a lot of Buckeye fans (looking at you Adam and Floyd!)

Speaking of Buckeyes stopping by, you can add Eli Apple and Jalin Marshall to the "Stopping by to say Bye Felicia" NFL club.

And some Gators! Your favorite!

Yeah really shocked by Jalin, we now have tied LSU for most underclassmen to declare, with 7. Likely going to have 9 when its all said and done.
