Yeah, it hit me really hard too , why does it always have to be the dammit... I serves as the backdrop for the entire series, so it was all important stuff and you will pick up on minor details of those scenes later. Really good writing in this one outside of a couple episodes later.

Kirito pretended to be the main character from Dimension Ass and needled an SSS+++ class rabbit and gets Asuna to cook it up. Meanwhile her creepy ass bodyguard is following her around everywhere. Kirito eventually has enough and duels the jackass. Then they explore the dungeon.

There's more to a show than character designs. That said I don't know how you can compare GBF to Exodus as they're fundamentally different types of shows.

Attack on Titan is good, but expect the pacing to slow down a LOT on the latter half. First half is much better. A lot of posters here don't like it.

sword art online is 80% boring, 15% utter irredeemable garbage, and about 5% vaguely interesting ideas bungled on.

AoT is great concept and world, a few interesting characters here and there, and half as good execution as you'd like half the time.

Psycho Pass is baby's first Philip K Dick novel with really cool guns

Psycho-Pass is great, Attack on Titan anime ends about 10 or so chapters before the manga stops being good but is a bit weirdly paced and the last arc is messy, Sword Art Online is not good.

SAO is really good especially second half as Kawahara (the source writer) really evolved as a writer and opened his world up to many possibilities. He continues to improve. And Kirito is one of the most amazing lead characters you will ever encounter. I would also suggest Accel World as it is a fantastic modern anime with unique blend of actiony MMO battle with science fiction elements and stunning music (onoken and mintjam are such good music composers).

Attack on Titan (Shingeki) is pretty good too though it has pacing issues and the writing is at times bordering on Bad Writing which is unfortunate as many other writes have caught the Bad Writing disease from him. Sawano delivers another soundtrack that one has to question is really anime level as it surpasses all expectations of anime osts like many before it. Shingeki can be good at times, spectacular at others, and aggravating as well.

Eh, I do think the Hiraiface in Exodus was less of an issue compared to Hiraiface shows made over 10 years ago. A lot improved in terms of character art and animation. While the designs are still obviously Hirai's, it doesn't really drag down in Exodus like it did in the original series. But I am pretty biased in that the show itself was good enough that the character designs weren't enough of an issue to lower the quality.

Then again, you also can't really call a show worse than another when your main criticism of the show you haven't seen is the character designs of another show by the same artist.

SAO is definitely wortha watch and one of my all time favs. It's best to watch for yourself and decide how you feel about it. It will get no love here though, lol.

The premise of this duel is the dumbest shit ever. She could, you know, just leave the fucking guild. Or Kirito could just, you know, ignore their dumb order. Also hey Kayaba, maybe giving yourself INVINCIBILITY AND AN ATTACK BUFF as your unique ability is a bit...suspicious. Oh and FREEZING TIME in the duel. Why are you helping the top guild clear these floors? Your god sim will only last another year or two at this rate.
