Since this is the most active Xbox S thread until the OT, I figured I would ask you all some advice....
Apparently, I have 2 2TB Xbox One S systems on reserve at Gamestop. I had gone in when they were suppose to start and the guy said it was not in the system yet, but he tried on-line and he said it did not work. They took my name and number down and I got a call 2 days later saying they can do it in-store now, so I went down and was one of the first to pre-order. Today, I walked in to ask my balance and what I had on some Gift Cards. The manager calls my account up and says "Hey, you have 2 on reserve". He said they had sold out of the reserve units within a few days of them taking pre-orders and that they have been getting a lot of requests. He said that people specifically want the 2tb model.
So, now I have 2 on reserve, but only need one of them. I am not one of those that turns around and sells things for a profit. My question is, are these as limited as this Gamestop is making it out to be? Will we have poor Gaf member wanting one, but not being able get one due to the limited availability? If I buy the 2nd one and someone here wants it, I have no issue selling it at the face value, but I don't want to buy it and it collect dust. I guess I could always return it or just pass on it all together. It is just that the Manager told me that they will most likely not get anymore and the only other way to get a 2tb one now (from them at least) is pre-ordering the 2tb Gears bundle.
