I don't even feel bad about JoJo getting worse views than Tokyo Ghoul. David Pro brought that on themselves.
Too bad the night started out so slow. Toonami really needs to tell Toei to move the 8:30 block back an episode. Not that Toei gives a fuck though.

You know, given what ArchedThunder's said about how many companies are involved in Super's production committee, not just Toei, it makes a lot of sense as to why they'd be dicks about this.

Toonami hasnt done a movie month since December 2014, meaning there have been 2 Decembers since then.

Toonami did air 'Children Who Chase Lost Voices' last year when clocks went back to standard time. That happens this year on November 5, who knows if they'll do something special.

note: The movie aired at the tail of the block, rather than at the front.

Highlander is a movie that opens with the main character having traumatic flashbacks triggered by some pretty mediocre wrestling. He then goes to a parking lot, engages in a sword battle, and his opponent at one point proceeds backflip over a dozen times in the fight.

I remember binging all the Highlanders with my friends a few years ago. We all thought the first one was fucking great, and then went "WTF" with regards to the complete shitshow of the 2nd.

Like it wasn't even just a bad movie. It was like the people that made it had never seen the OG in their life, and then someone paid them a million dollars to purposefully make it as bad as possible.

The rest were merely ok.

Pretty much every one ignores 2 because it makes little sense

I love the plot of 2 only happens because the villains is an idiot

So I beat Samus Returns on Monday. Fun game. I've always loved Metroid II. Is this the better of the two remakes? I'd say yes.

Yesterday I played two different demos. Project Octopath Traveler....so good. So very good. The other one was EO V. I named my Team TOONAMI and made characters roughly based on some random people from this thread. Maybe I'll take screenshots when I'm done with it.

Should be finished by Friday when I start Pokémon Gold and XCX.

I'd still be curious to see what their numbers are if you include PS VUE and all the other live TV streaming services out there which there are like half a dozen and are probably in use by a large chunk of the age demographic that watches Toonami.

Given that Toonami's gotten multiple block expansions, the most recent of which was for no reason at all, it must be doing really well by Adult Swim's metrics.

So what we're seeing here are Nielsen's stats slowly breaking down.

I am watching the Funimation App with ads and I actually don't mind ads but they literally show like the same 2 or 3 ads over and over and over and they're always for Funimation. I'm not even sure what the point is.

I can't think of any anime OT that wasn't terrible, and not just on GAF, but on the internet in general. Manga OTs start out better, but they usually go bad after a while too.

This thread is alright 'cause it's small and most of us avoid anime fandom shit.
