Legit 1st two seasons of China, Il are really good. The last season was bad enough to et cancelled. I didnt hear anything about the other show that dude put out.

Looking at this old promo with the Ocean Group dub it's amazing how they threw in the random Tree of Might shot in. I was confused that that was Goku for a long time until I saw the movie, haha

The funny thing about some of the earlier airings of DBZ is that they broke the movies up into episode length chunks and then mixed them in with the normal show. I remember as a kid being totally confused when the tree of might stuff started playing right after Radditz was killed.

Scott McNeill Piccolo and Brian Drummond Vegeta are actually pretty good.
First. It takes place before DBZ starts. It is very close to fitting in the canon as well, people would just have to forget meeting Gohan.

Yeah, there was a random filler arc after the Frieza arc in the original anime. Dead Zone was the first movie
The Goku VA was horrid, the dub itself wasn't well acted, and while those characters were pretty awesome.
Also, let's not pretend like Sabat's Vegeat and Piccolo arent amazing either (Although Funi dub is honestly one of the best dubs imo in terms of voice direction, argue all you want about the music and tonal changes, but the voices were ACE)

I think it took a bit for the current cast to grow into their current roles, but yes the Funi dub as a whole is much better. Granted there's a special place in my heart for smoker grandma Freiza dub but whatever.
IBO season one was super early in the lineup.
