Aside from audio stuff, has any gameplay been posted? I know it's not possible from the pre-load, but it seems that discs are now out in the wild. I can't help but be curious...
Also these spoiler tags are putting me on edge haha. It's like minesweeper, hoping that every tag I click on is just more confirmed soundtrack stuff and not the ending or something

When San Andreas came out there wasn't one single bit of gameplay revealed or leaked until like a week before release. The game was kept totally under wraps. Those were good times.
Then I think the first gameplay was a dude riding a bicycle and nobody believed it was real. Rockstar was so airtight then.

Correct. All of the leaks came from the pre-load. Sony and R* screwed up by allowing pre-loads almost a month before launch.
I don't know if it was real, some asshole posted it in the weazel news thread, I got a glimpse of the first words, it could be fake, the post got deleted.
I think there are multiple threads in the game so I hope to have a different one ( regarding the specific thing I read)

R* will never do a partnership with sony again. Sony fucked up big time.

Most of the bullshots could pass for a next gen game.
They can say it's Shelby all they like, the girl Rockstar drew looks more like Kate Upton than Shelby. These guys know what they are doing.
I doubt it. Sony probably won't allow pre-loads to go up a month before launch.

As far as I am aware, they are contractually obliged to at some point, as they parted with L.A.Noire for an exclusive franchise.
They'd invested in 4 years of development on the game, so that's where Agent came from.
My new headset is ready for listening the soundtrack.

IN the EU preloading has been the norm. I don't think this is anyones fault per se. Rock* obviously gave Sony the code.
This is the internet age. Stuff like this happens. Not saying I like it, but if the most that comes from this is soundfiles and soundtrack info then it's not too bad.

Depends on which controller you prefer, on which platforms your friends play, if you are a XBL subscriber... We don't know anything about the graphics yet.
I wonder was if it was Sony who fucked up by uploading the pre-load too early or by mistake instead of a smaller file? Or did Rockstar incredibly naively authorise the 18GB pre-load to be uploaded almost a month before the game is out?
I guess we will never know. Either way it was an incredibly stupid and easily preventable mistake. Either Sony or Rockstar practically leaked it themselves and they've only got themselves to blame. Someone deserves to lose their job.
As soon as I heard it was available to pre-load I knew a leak was inevitable. Sure, the pre-load file will be too well encrypted to actually be playable but it will have been a piece of cake to pull individual audio and image files from it.

It is bad. They found cutscene audio and, just like in GTA IV, the Weasel News updates spoil major moments. Yes the game wasn't leaked, but a lot of story related info was.

Wasn't Halo 4 leaked like a month before release? It sucks but these things happen and GTAV is without a doubt the biggest release in a long while.
You just need to have a strong will and not let yourself get spoiled.
That being said I forsee a lot of bans on this sight if the discussion keeps up.
