I haven't watched the video, but being Egyptian; YES!
That bit of play shows how awful Brazil defended the last two games. Robben was alone there, what if there wasn't a foul there.
Look at David Luiz just sitting there almost expecting a sympathy call. Typical Brazil.
These players get like 3 weeks of vacation time before they have to report for training for the upcoming season during world cup years. This is as far as the World Cup needs to be.
RVP giving the captain armband to the Oranje General
Man, the referee in this game was all kinds of shit and clearly in favour of Brazil. Not a particularly great or exciting match, but another clear example that Brazil's current team is pretty awful. Can't believe they managed to get to the semi finals.
I think the World Cup should increase the number of teams that qualify. It would be nice to see some more small countries involved. And go to a round of 32 for the play-offs. It would be great to see the inevitable upsets drive people crazy.
There's enough bad teams as it is
We don't need more teams like New Zealand and Haiti and shit
Less of them

So?
Tell me you don't want to see North Korea get its ass kicked.
I want to see more random perhaps half-decent countries in there . . . Canada, Norway, Sweden, Finland, China, India, etc.
How can China not have a half-decent team? They have a billion people? India too!

Argentina are playing with their away jerseys. Am I missing something?- Argentina will be playing as the local team, which I think will give them that extra boost throughout the game.

Up until yesterday my favorite to win the world cup was Germany. But after closer analysis and less bias I actually came to the conclusion that Argentina might have a better chance of winning tomorrow. My reasons are as follow:
- Argentina will be playing as the local team, which I think will give them that extra boost throughout the game.
- Germany had to struggle quiet a bit with teams that played them defensively. I refer to both Ghana and Algeria, a style that Argentina has implemented throughout the tournament. Now think about that for a moment. Both Ghana and Algeria lack the quality of offensive players that Argentina posses. Di Maria will be a nightmare for the German defense, and if Messi plays at least a decent match, Higuain or Lavezzi will atleast have a clear chance at goal.
- No European has ever won in America. I think that record will remain at least for now.
I also think it will be a boring final, as all of the Argentina games. I wouldn't be surprised if it goes to penalties. If it goes to PK's Germany will win.

Germany has shown they can defend anyone and score against anyone as well. Argentina will be outmatched.

I don't mean in it in that particular sense. I was trying to say they are going to play in a stadium full of Argentinians (aka more supporters).
Something that do count when two teams of the same quality play.
Thanks for clearing that up. I really need to stop reading this thread when I'm tired. It's obvious he refers to the regional advantage.
Something about infrastructure. Just look at USA compared to Holland.
Local as in thousands of Argentinian fans will be there since their country is right there.Argentina are playing with their away jerseys. Am I missing something?
Won't happen. Is a 50/50 match. None of the teams will be outmatched. There is a reason both teams made it this far.
Edit: It is actually a plus for Argentina that they are seen as the underdog, when is clearly not the case.

Don't be so sure. Argentina is peaking while Germany has played their best ball. Germany is favored but they aren't doing 7-1 against Argentina.

What did the odd maker said before the Brazil and Germany game? Just curious.comThat's not what the odds makers say. Germany is looking like a safe bet.

I disagree with this line of thinking. Brazil finished on a very low point, sure, but the team was at least capable of winning this thing at some point. They came into the World Cup off a Confederations Cup win, proceeded to get into the semi-finals undefeated (albeit with some struggles, along with some ugliness), and then collapsed against Germany without Neymar or Silva in a humiliating loss that both revealed and exaggerated their vulnerabilities. This loss against the Netherlands will just reinforce the "how did Brazil get so far?" narrative, but this was a psychologically deflated, Neymar-less Brazilian team up against a fully realized, confident Netherlands team. It was never inevitable that things would unfold this way.
In the same way their pedigree and home field advantage exaggerated their skill as a team, I think these terrible last couple of games most definitely exaggerated their lack of skill as a team.
Either way, though, Brazil definitely needs to do something drastic to come back from this. For one, Scolari completely failed this team.
They have enough. We need more African teams!
I just woke up
In like 14 hours bro... I haven't even gone to bed -.-

That was Pele that said they'd win before 2000.In the 90s they said Africa is 15 years away from winning a major football tournament. Guess the estimates were wrong.
Japan always had potential for good football. Unfortunately they tend to chocke when it comes to World Cup tournaments. One might thought the strong display in 2010 was a breakout but unfortunately this years results showed the opposite.
South Korea has good players too. But they don't work in a team.
China is a sleeping giant. But the lack of a professional youth system will probably be the reason why they will never become world class.
Lucky you You can skip most of the day by sleeping
It's sad, I want to see an African winner in my lifetime. But that will not happen any time soon, I guess.
