Yeah, found that out the hard way. Considered pre-ordering Mario Odyssey and Splatoon 2 and a $5 gift card, which would pretty much mean I get both games for about $40 after taxes. Not that big a savings, but for Nintendo that's pretty decent.

Despite being $38 ish each I canceled KH2.8 and Nier Automata from last time, and added Zelda and MK8. Opting for a Switch at launch so I'm gonna wait on those first two. I know KH will go on sale for even cheaper and Nier I will buy probably in the summer. Still supporting Yakuza 0, Sega needs all the help they can get!

ARMS 2 player, being able to play mario kart 8, puyo puyo tetris and bomberman 4-player.

Also a 2nd set of neon means a set each of red/blue. No need to buy separate sets (ie: 3 pair).

Mostly multiplayer, and so I can literally leave one set of Joycon attached to the Switch and one set attached to the charging grip.

You can use them as two separate controllers if you have guests over and you're in a bind. You have an extra set ready to click onto your Switch if your batteries die on your main ones. Paired with the charging grip, you have an easier way to charge your Joycons & you can play with them while you charge them.

All that probably wasn't enough for me on it's own, but factoring in the Best Buy coupon, it's only $15 over the Pro controller. Done.
