So this was a pretty amusing show. At first because of the somewhat weird premise, but after a few episodes it got amusing on it's own. It's not the funniest show ever though. The tank stuff was mostly good (those first couple of minutes of the first episode excluded), and at least the 3D is not as weird as Love Live. The final battle was really fun to watch and the use of classic war themes in the soundtrack was cool.
All in all I give it 6/8 tanks:

We didn't even show fanservice screenshots of the show though. I mean unless you're talking about cnet's stuff, well that's its own separate issue.

It's been an ongoing brewing issue. I don't think people here have been particularly happy about seeing lewd stuff here and there, or some people opening discussions on the attractiveness of young characters. I just no longer see a reason we need to even try to hold ourselves to a similar standard that other anime communities on the internet have. We should hold ourselves to the same standard we have on the forum itself. If the only reason a person is posting in this thread is to show everyone how perverted they are, then those people can stop posting on this thread.

I completely agree with you, but you know that the bolded isn't the slightest true. Frankly, I'm sick of taking a peek into half the threads around, SportsGAF especially, and see some picture of some women and watch half the members treat her as an object that exists simply for their sexual arousal. It sickens me.
That being said, The AnimeGAF community was relatively easy to get into, compared to some of the other communities. I'd definitely take anything that would continue that ability.
Some more practicing might have been nice, but Yui is really the only one of the five that hadn't played their instrument before. The others were more or less competent musicians.

We are aware that there are issues in many threads still, but it's hard for us to be everywhere. I am simply taking a stand here because I post here and am part of this community and I don't want to see the issue get worse. It's better to make things clear before stuff escalates.

I would assume (or hope anyway) that when most people express their admiration for a certain character, female or otherwise, that they are doing so for reasons that extend beyond (or don't even include) the extent to which they stimulate certain unnamed specific parts of the human body.
I don't see a problem with that on its face, but then that's just me.

I think it's more like controversial or objectionable content (esp. having to do with sexuality) is off-limits now.
This includes posting pictures with the sole intent of titillation, or "expressing how x thing in a show is titillating you" being the only meaningful content of a post.
For example, the cnet thing didn't involve any posted pictures;
he essentially said a cameltoe pic/pose of a 12-year-old character in a NGNL episode was a "beautiful thing".
The intent is for AnimeGAF to decidedly not be an environment where people are saying stuff like that. TLDR use your better judgment and you should be fine.
