So I read this whole thread and all I get out of it is some guy from Eurogamer Spain made some vague ass statement regarding memory, said he doesn't think the info is dumb or bullshit, he doesn't even know if Sony will respond / explain whatever the hell he's talking about, and thuway has no clue what the fuck he's talking about nor does anyone else he's asked.

Also only Eurogamer Spain is the only one to report a damn thing about this all day.

This will be nothing big.

I think Sony is prepping a statement that's why they wouldn't publish it till tomorrow.

Because the maximum bandwidth of the GDDR5 itself is 176GB/s. CPU, at most, will take up 20GB/s. That 20GB/s isn't going to magically come from nowhere. It's unified, so GPU and CPU access the same pool of memory.

I think this guy has no clue about tech. He saw 20GB/s, said to himself "mhm that sounds pretty low" and asked Sony to comment. They actually did and know he thinks he has found out that the PS4 is weaker than we thought, when nothing changed.

Any sort of ram upgrade, small or big.

Negative:
Delayed launch due to ram
4GB of GDDR5 (legal objection to do so).

Smaller downgrades / OS partitions they won't issue a press release for.
