Thanks for the new thread mate!
One thing tho: I'm sure it just slipped from you but I don't think it,s kosher to lift an entire source/gfx/layout from Brazil's hard work without crediting him. I know I felt kinda sad when that happened to me for a couple of iOS threads, it wasn't a big deal of course but I think it should go with the etiquette of this forum. Again, I'm sure you haven't done it on purpose, so I'm basically just reminding it to you :)

Of course, I wanted to write something in the thread title like "Brazil was here", but i wasn't sure if it was a good idea to change the titles.

I will write a mention in the OP. Thanks for the advice.

To be honest if he's said himself he doesn't want to do it anymore it doesn't really matter. A mention is more than enough.

Well dedicating him an entire thread's title might be kinda overkill :P
If I were you I'd just credit him at the top or bottom of the OP for the banners, layout and text for as long as you'll be using his work.
Having said that, it's up to you :)

Awesome thread, thank you! I just picked up Toki Tori yesterday as well as the SLR demo. I'm psyched to try them out. I'm sure I'll love Toki Tori as we're still playing 2+ and really digging it.

Man, this thread reminded me that I'm totally stoked for those Sega 3D games. I would say I can't wait, but I've been waiting, so... I will buy them promptly upon release and enjoy.

The Genesis & Sega GameGear we're weird anomalies when I was growing up. With regards to what's currently available on the 3DS Virtual console service, are their any games for the GameGear that you guys could recommend?

Shining Force: The Sword of Hajya was a pretty good SRPG on the Game Gear. It's definitely worth a go.

Wait, the Adventure Time game comes out on the 19th for the 3DS?
So.. Did Gamestop sell it to me early then?

Depends on which Adventure Time game it is. If it's Explore the Dungeon Because I Don't Know!, then yep. If so, how is it?

It's pretty fun, and challenging. Kinda slow, though. And what sucks is, if you lose to a boss and accidently press "no" on the try again screen, they stick you back 5 floors in the dungeons. I beat the second boss the other day.
The controls are a little bit weird for me, aswell. :p Like, instead of selecting stuff with A, you select stuff with B, and A is to decline stuff. Just weird to get used to.

Edit: Also, I got the CE which is 10 bucks more. Comes in a cute BMO case, and comes with a mini guide, and a CD with interviews and stuff.

Kinda hyped now. I'll probably have to pick it up at some point then.

Thanks for the thread!

According to the NA eShop:

Mysterious Cities of Gold = $14.99
Crazy Coaster Deluxe = $9.99

And I don't think I'd be taking anything for granted by assuming Mario 3D World will be $59.99 :-)

If you like Castlevania you could try Vampire: Master of Darkness. It's basically Castlevania for babies with a bit more story. Though be warned that it's quite short and there's no replay value unless you want to beat your high score; I was done with it in 2 hours.

If you want a challenging action side scroller you should try Shinobi. As you go through 4 stages you rescue your ninja companions and they join you in battle; you can switch between them on the fly and each one has a unique ability and attacks. And then you enter the super confusing and long 5th stage and start squeezing your 3DS in frustration, until you eventually beat the game and feel a great sense of accomplishment.
Protip: each stage has a health power-up which will definitely come in handy in the final stage.

Anyone play this?

Isn't there a iPhone version that it's based off of? I'd be curious myself. It's graphically very generic, but I heard it had some Rollercoaster Tycoon staff involved? If it gets the fundamentals right it could be a fun distraction.

I'm getting this for free since I helped on the Kickstarter, hope it arrives soon.

Next week according to the eShop. November 21. I can't quite tell what kind of game it is though, most screen shots look like cutscenes instead of gameplay. RPG? Puzzler?

I saw:
Wii U | Virtual Console
Uncharted
and think my heart skipped a beat.

Edit: Is Wii U Fit download and disc copy the same price? What about the step counter? Please forgive my ingnorance. I think my I just had a mild heart attack.

Columns is weirdly small on the screen, but it's still pretty fun. And Dragon Crystal is a good roguelike as far as 20-year-old roguelikes go.

am i just imagining it, or were people discussing a jet rocket II demo being released? i can't find the demo on the eshop.
