I haven't really had the time to start this season yet, although I'm thrilled. Has it improved in story and character development over S1, or is it still primarily for the fights we are watching?

I thought the fight was messy. Bad editing and kind of lazy choreography. The monk fight last season was much better. Damn shame about Eva, I liked her. And it seems like Sonny got the exploding heart technique. I'm guessing Bajie knows how to reverse it though.

So much for Tilda's loyalty to the Widow; she's not going to respect her giving up Veil and the baby like that.

We shall see... Tilda is a bit naive and will probably be persuaded it was the right move.

As for Sunny - I wonder if that monk passed his power to him? Either that or yes his heart is about to explode..

I feel like the story is consistent with that was in Season 1, and the fighting scenes this season have been significantly less impressive. I remember hearing stories that they spent ridiculous amounts of time on each fight scene last season, and it showed, whereas now they're edited to hell and back and not representative of the type of stuff you'd see in the shows obvious inspirations. I'm not enjoying this season as much as last season to be honest.

True, but Tilda was also commended for listening to her gut after she saved the Widow. Given her bond with Veil/Sunny/MK, I think she might try something behind the Widow's back. Giving up a woman and her baby for politics probably won't sit right with her, as it's not much different than the Widow letting her husband rape Tilda.

I don't know about passing the power to Sunny. Why would the monk help him first of all? But if they end up having a big brawl with the Master later this season, he'll need it.

I agree with whomever said Sunny's new sword is too big for him. He's more of a finesse guy.

I'm very glad to hear this show got picked up for a 3rd season. This 2nd season has been so much fun so far, absolutely loving it.

While I'm here, maybe someone here could answer this; The car they got from the scrapyard, is it a Ford Thunderbird (sixth gen)? If not what is it? I'm not much of a car person to know for sure. All I know is that I love it's design.

I wonder with the increased episode count if they will split up the season like they do The Walking Dead.

They will almost definitely split the next season up.

New episode tonight!

Black Heart, White Mountain

Sunny confronts his inner demons while his friends struggle to help him. Meanwhile, the Widow exacts revenge on her enemies with help from a new, deadly partner.

Since it was only just last night, it feels like Sonny's about to have his own
Samurai Jack finding his way (well that was meditation tho) moment
.

ROFL

These two are gonna be funny together.

Bajie's like, *clears throat* damn this kid and his rightfully moral high-ground right here, I know he's right! :D

I agree with whomever said Sunny's new sword is too big for him. He's more of a finesse guy.

Thanks.

Yes exactly, he's a finesse and smooth moves guy and he can't do that with this sword, I still feel this way seeing his recent two fights since getting that new sword again (not that it's not cool). He needs a sleeker sword again like in season one.

I appreciate that things weren't standing still while we were spending time with sonny and co. Good forward moving m0mentum this season.

Yeah, that music was so good.

"I saved your life!"
"I mean, we saved your life."
Shoulda seen that coming but still fantastic lol :D

Nice moment.

Bajie knows something about Sunny's compass, intriguing.

Another week, another L for the Red Squad. You know things are bad when the help is pimp slapping the Baroness.
