i'd like to point out that rockstar wasn't always about releasing small bits in seperate trailers. check out the original GTA3 trailer. it has explosions, guns, multiple views, gameplay, driving -- it shows a LOT.

i too was dissapointed by the GTAIV trailer. i wanted a new city. i wanted to see more than improvements in graphics. i want to see if AI reacts differently, i want to see if controls are different.

they themselves hyped the trailer far too much to just show updated graphics.

I do think the personality clashes are played for entertainment at times (Shane in particular). The discussions are usually pretty interesting even filtering that out, though.

Seeing as the "fights" are usually Luke shouting, I don't think their for show so much as just his character. The day John starts screaming about something is the day they're faking it.

It's something I'm actually a little concerned about. I prefer the 1up stuff when it's just done straight, not trying to make it "entertaining". I'm hoping they hold the line here and don't go all MTV on us eventually.
