Just got my Saga Vol2 DVD in Canada!

I have a question when I go to claim the code it says it's invalid, do I have to do it on the 17th? or can I input it at any time?

The latest Sony blog says don't bother trying the code until the 17th. You will only get errors.

Anyone know a way to get into the beta without going through GS? I usually don't like to preorder and don't really care for the DVD.

edit: Best buy is selling Saga 2.0 for $5 with beta code. A good alternative to getting the beta key for those who don't like to preorder or are picking up the MGS4 in the PS3 bundle.

I noticed the ship date for the LE was pushed up 6 days, is this a mistake or should we be expecting to play MGS4 a few days earlier?

Got mine last night Finally the damn EB got them.

The last trailer on the disc, from TGS 07 I think, was very out of place. The first few are so serious and dramatic, then that trailer is kinda goofy..

okay so i guess this is the most appropriate place to ask this, but on the bonus disc, if you look at the mgs4 trailers, the one labeled "tokyo game show 2006, japan" is great, but i have a question. At the end , when (who i thought was) snake is hiding in with the statues holding balls (lol wtf :lol ), he takes his mask off and it's.....YOUNG SNAKE?!?!?!??! ZOMGWTFBBQ WTF IS THIS SHIT OMG THE HELL??!?!?!?!?!??!?!

hmm, I just received a Saga disc from gamestop.com in the mail (ordered the LE). It was a nice surprise. It looks like they're getting them out before the beta. It shows in my order history as well.

So anyone actually played through the 3 again? finished 1, 2, 3 in 2 weeks so far, going onto Portable Ops when i get my PSP from home. Story wise MGS is simple and pretty insane at the same time with the stories all running pretty much parallel across the whole series and im expecting more of the same from MGS4.............. i.e

series of bosses along your mission that you have to defeat, then a metal gear battle, then the final battle.......Liquid, Solidus....The Boss, same in all......... then you find out its meant to be this way because the Government (MGS1 & 2) is trying to make a super soldier and basing his training of Big Boss' mission (MGS3)... dames, Ninjas its all there....... and MGS4 looks to be the same based of what we have seen in vids..... story wise they are all the same pretty much...... but its still good
