Hate retailer exclusive DLC crap. Especially since of course they're gonna charge for them otherwise. If there are going to be preorder bonuses, they should be the same everywhere or these types of things should become free down the line.

Alternatively, they could have not given us any preorder DLC at all and later charged us for ALL of them.

I'm bummed by this, too, but I'll take one free costume over zero.

As has been said many times in the thread, I can't imagine a scenario where Capcom doesn't release these costumes for all platforms some time post-launch. They've said that SFV won't have multiple expansions like previous iterations and that all gameplay DLC will be earnable in-game for free.

DLC costumes are pretty much the only things they have to sell to consumers so it doesn't make sense for these to be pre-order exclusive for the game's entire lifespan-- which will probably be more than a few years.

It's a shame that said Ryu costume isn't his default. Though if I recall, this game is in between 4 & 3, so it wouldn't make much sense for such a radical change (even if Ken can be brought up as a counter to this argument).

They aren't related. You do not need the CE for the costumes. They are retail exclusive though, which sucks but at least you don't have to fork out $100 for 1 of them.

It's freaking bullcrap that I can't get all of them :[ Since I'm on PC I actually can only get Chun's costume AKA the only one I didn't like, lol. The rest are improvements over their default outfits.
