I'm actually playing Trials and Tribulations right now, after having just finished Justice for All last week and the first game last summer. It's kind of a shame you guys seem to be "eh" on the rest of the series, I was looking forward to Apollo Justice.

For me, Apollo Justice is the main 'dip', with AA5 being a return to form, but with a severe case of handholding. It's my second favourite game (third, if you count the Investigations Series), but it's because it didn't bother me as most people.
It's confirmed.

Apollo Justice was mostly just... uninteresting. The third case was particularly tedious. Major spoiler:
I wonder if Capcom are going to pretend like the whole "Trucy and Apollo are siblings without knowing it" subplot never happened.

They got a lot closer in AA5 so I guess they'll eventually reveal it. If the magician plot returns in this game it'll definitely be adressed.
At least, I hope.
Yeah... there's something with her 3D model that doesn't look particularly right. Specifically during that pose of hers.

The reason seems to be that
that particular subplot was Takumi's doing, and the new team perhaps don't want to touch on it unless he has plans.
That and according to the Dual Destinies art book, one of the ideas for Apollo's coat was that (maybe AA4 spoilers?)
it belonged to his father. So they've at least considered going back to the "Apollo's family" story.

Her expression looks much less innocent. Not necessarily in a bad way, but her wide eyed sense of wonder seems to have been replaced by a sense of maturity to an extent.
Can't wait to see if her personality developed, or if she's just a taller version of her old self

Older Phoenix looks so cool. I mean, he physically looks the same, but his expression is all serious business now.
People kept making jokes that he looked super angry in this game cuz the first trailers kept showing him all looking pissed.
I wish the game looked as good and crisp as in that trailer. 3DS is really holding the visuals back

I would love to have Hakari Mikagami and Yumihiko Ichiyanagi (Justine Courtney and Sebastian Debeste) from AAI2, but I know it won't happen because that game wasn't officially released in the West. So either Franziska and/or Gumshoe would be great.
I wonder what will be the thread connecting every case in this game, as has been custom since the new team started with AAI back in 2009. Will they finally close the loose threads from AA4 and AA5, closing a new trilogy?

I hope we see some interactions between Maya and Apollo/Athena. The game takes place in two different countries, but I suspect everything will come together at the end.
I don't really need to see Gumshoe back personally at this point, but maaaaan do I wanna see him and Maggey's wedding photo. Where everything is on fire and there's a chalk outline of a murder victim by their feet.

Apollo and Maya just don't fit in that image, or at least those renders. The art without them is miles better.
There'll certainly be additional returning character reveals later, but I wouldn't count on that promo image being updated again, lest it really becomes too cluttered.
Poor Leifa not important enough to be on the box art. Although this time there seem to be many important characters, so it's just natural you can't fit them all.
I hope they create a poster similar to the one AA5 had:
