It's a light week hence the OP being light. Feel free to let me know if I'm missing anything important.

FSU looking completely lifeless against NC State is still wild to me. I know Jimbo's teams have a knack for coming out flat even without having a 3 week bye, but, sheesh.

Even Derwin James got shook out his cleats for a TD. The football gods don't give a fuck about your plans.

Duke beat Carolina last week.

That is all.

The slightly less evil won.

Enjoy the Bell.

Blackman looked good when he wasn't on his butt. FSU's O-Line has been an issue for years now, so it's surprising that Jimbo hasn't done more to fix that.

At this rate, they're gonna lose to Louisville in addition to Clemson, and maybe even Miami. They're considering scheduling ULM during CC week if they aren't bowl eligible by then.

How the mighty have fallen.

I looked at their schedule earlier. 5-6 is absolutely in the cards assuming they split UF/Miami. They have to go to Wake this week and to Duke in a couple. They could easily drop one of those.

The AAC championship is a good idea though.

Because they have ACTUAL DIVISIONS

(Memphis wouldn't play USF until the championship)

Don't you bad mouth the BIG 12 championship game! That game is going to lead to my dream scenario where 2 teams play each other in back to back weeks.

Yeah, AAC has the standard CCG setup. Big 12 is just doing it out of desperation because they think such a setup matters to the playoff committee. We'll see, but I an't wait for them to get locked out again.

Banished to the community board again. At least it'll keep out some of the drive by posters. I think in in love with beer chick. Lordy

The USC-Wazzu game is going to be real interesting. USC looks vulnerable and has injury issues, but Wazzu is always at risk of Couging it.

Their top receiver was in a sling on Sunday. This is their second lowest chance to win per ESPN's FPI, which also predicts them to lose to Notre Dame.

Maybe Helton will be forced to play some of the young receivers he refuses to let see the field.

I don't post much, anymore, but sorry to see Bertram leave. I gave up on trying to have intelligent conversation outside of the GAF CFB threads ages ago.
