This poster pulses with an appeal so broad the typical restraints of our societies fall by the wayside.
Pekka doesn't have the sack to win a Cup

saw on twitter that the Flyera won a playoff game last year (vs Caps) where they got outshot 44-11

completely forgot that happened, amazing

If the pens are struggling to get shots in this game the next one may not be that great for them.

Your posts are mt favourite because the Pens keep proving you wrong again and again.

"One of the most unusual playoff games you'll ever watch. Pittsburgh wins, somehow." LOL. You said it, Jim.

Still trying to think of a more lucky BS win ever, no luck so far.

It'll definitely be very interesting to see how both teams come out mentally in game 2.

Stop shitting on my team. Start shitting on my finger.
no matter how unlucky and undeserved this game ended, the Perds have to like the way they played. No way the Pens get this fucking lucky for 4 games in a row. They won't keep being gifted 5on3's and own goals and Rinne shitting the bed. Perds should feel good about future games. Just stick to the same gameplan, they absolutely dominated the pens for 40 minutes.

"playing" dumb? unpossible
Don Cherry speaking so highly of Subby is giving me a chubby. Fuck it, it was worth ruining this game to see that lol.

We couldn't overcome that awful first period. But you better be nervous pens because we fucking owned the ice in period 2 and 3.

No way the Pens play like this for the rest of the series. Sullivan will make adjustments, as usual. The team also has to feel pretty ashamed after that one despite the win.

You also you know can't rely on the Pens not getting a shot on net for 30 minutes next time.

Penguins don't lay too many shit performances back to back like that... and usually they lose the shit performances...

Pens are an excellent rebound from a bad game team. So expect a different team on Wednesday.

you could look at it that way. Or you could say the Pens played their worst game of the playoffs and still won. So they're just gonna get better from here and you still couldn't beat them.

Arguably the worst playoff game they've played in two years under Sullivan.

So is this just coming down to our team was the worst one out there argument?

Because this was easily the worst luck and scoreboard against Nashville this entire playoff run. Rinne was complete garbage and he won't play that bad the entire series. The worst player on the ice tonight and he's usually the best.

But then your discounting the help you received with the bullshit offsides, the terrible 5 on 3 call, and the terrible own goal by us.

So yeah, you aren't going to get those every game either.

This reminded me of this game

Record for least amount of shots in a playoff win back then I think, or something like that.

Though they scored on a 5-on-3, they then kept scoring on the subsequent powerplays. Still, this game felt similar to that in some ways.

Sharks fan huh? Nothing but respect for you guys. Gave us a hell of a battle especially Jones last year. I was lurking here last year and your fans had a lot of class without blaming the rule of offsides for losses.

Hopefully this is the one and only appearance of Shit Pekka.

The disallowed goal and phantom calls were garbage, but there's pretty much no excuse for losing a game while facing 12 SOG.

Preds are in deep trouble if they can't take Game 2.

I would hope the refs continue to make the right calls every game. Basically the argument against the offsides was "it was close so that rule shouldn't be a rule anymore" and Neal with a clear cross check not sure how that one is disputed. And yeah own goals happen. bounces happened both ways though. We've gotten 3 that exact way this playoffs.

I'm just gonna continue to challenge this narrative. The disallowed goal was completely legit as his foot was up at the same time the puck hit the blue line, let alone when it crossed the other side. If you don't like the rule ask them to change it in the offseason. No phantom call when Neal clearly cross checked. Be glad all of you flying into Murray never got called.

Really what I'm saying is this is probably an anomaly game that no one on either side should draw any conclusions from.
