It's good for about 5 or 6 episodes until the novelty of "Kyoani garbage slice of life anime but genderbent" wears off.

Twitch spamming TEAM SKULL when Rin was introduced killed me.
I lost it when the "cool" music played as he sauntered out of the shadows. You know he'll just absolutely melt if Haruka pets his head; the boy just needs some lovin' and attention.

The only character I actually like in Free is probably Makoto since I like the gentle giant types. Other than that I'm not a big fan of Free! especially it's first season (I'm pretty sure this show was originally just a commercial but they ended up turning it into a show after people liked it)

Yeah I actually enjoyed this format as a person who recently only been watching 1 anime each year. Parasyte (2015) ,Erased /Boku dake ga Inai Machi(2016) , Boruto (2017) . Hopefully they do this occasionally every so often as It gets me to watch anime I wouldn't even bother watching on my own if it wasn't for twitch chat even if it's mostly nonsense lol.
My fav thing about the marathon (besides the REEEEEEEEE spamming) was how a meme from one show carried over to later shows.

This super exaggerated art and voice acting is pretty annoying, not gonna lie. I watched a bit of this the first go around of the marathon, hopefully watching it from the beginning makes me see what other's see in it.

I don't think this anime would be successful without the exaggerated art, but it did take me a few episodes to get used to the art style.

First time witnessing Kemono friends was during the marathon and now I understand why it's so damn popular. Light-hearted fun with charming animation after I got used to it. It's just fun.

12 episodes, they played the whole season at the beginning of the marathon, and they will again. Dragon Maid should be after, which you may or may not like. After that is Yuri on Ice, which surprisingly was enjoyable for the sport aspect.

Might as well take advantage of that free Crunchyroll month and catch episodes later. Though tbh I get by without it, since that just means the newest episodes get opened up a week after release. You can catch all of Mob even without a sub on the site.
....Oh. I always thought Crunchyroll was sub only lol.
Well then, I'll watch the next episode and then just catch the rest tomorrow. (Plus watch the first episode, since I came I right at the end.)
