If the refs will swallow their whistles then it has the potential to be a great series, but I just don't see them doing that. It's going to be ridiculous how many calls there are going to be.

Cant you just ignore the calls and enjoy the game. Yeah there are going to be bad calls. So what. Most of the time there will be amazing basketball.

Good series man, it was fun. A big part of me wants your core 4 to somehow stay together to keep this rivalry going.

Cheat code Lebron last game was one thing. To me personally Battier earlier and Bosh won this game with just timely 3's. Like I said I'm dissapointed because I wanted to beat you pricks LOL even though I thought we'd get smashed in the finals. Now it's just sign KG for 2 years..make the playoffs next year. Then the real moves begin for the future.

You're already worrying about it too much. Just relax and watch. Otherwise you're just going to nitpick every call you see.

My city is stupid. So stupid. Have your fun.

I take back all my defense of Miami fans. But in fairness you this stuff in other cities too, but you'd think they would know better after last year.

Yeah thats the worst part, we went to the finals last year. There should be no surprise in this, we should expect this. Only championships should be celebrated.

If the Dolphins made the Super Bowl that maybe gets some what a celebration but this. What the fuck. Some horn honking ok but to shut down a street like we won a championship, wow.

The Trail Blazers were one of "many teams" who were disappointed with Connecticut swingman Jeremy Lamb's pre-draft workouts.

Lamb acknowledged that teams want to see his "motor" and whether he can stand up to NBA contact, and he didn't help himself by failing to shoot well during drills. Another strike against him for Portland came during a media interview -- when asked whether he knew "anything about" the Blazers, he struggled to name LaMarcus Aldridge, then said he knew of "the light-skinned dude," who turned out to be Nicolas Batum.

I never heard of a person more unenthused about being an NBA basketball player than this dude. I hope he falls to the second round.

Two things:

1) Lebron James played to his potential the last two games, absolutely phenomenal - lets see if he can carry it into the Finals. If he wins a chip and gets Finals MVP I'll be the first to acknowledge he's a champion and should be respectsd as such

2) for those who watched the Pac-Man fight, I have no words. It was the worst atrocity in sports I've ever seen. Manny demolished Bradley and Bradley at best won two rounds. How Bradley won the split decision is just beyond me. Absolutely friggin stunning. Just, man - no one can complain bout the NBA being super rigged after that boxing match!

Yep. People think I hate LeBron just because. i dont. Most dont. If he reaches his potential I would be more than happy to recognize him for being the best. Hes an amazing talent. If he puts it all together win OR lose he deserves credit. If he plays out of his mind in the finals and still loses he still deserves credit. But if he pulls the same shit he did last year than lol.

i've been following boston since '07 and this is the first loss that really got to me. seeing doc and kg interact with a few seconds of gametime left and then his post-game interview, i felt totally gutted. such an incredible coach and a great core of dudes, it is devastating that they gave everything but it just wasn't enough (largely) due to their age compared to a team that was so much younger overall. i'm still thankful that they managed to put up one last fight - truly an end of era and one that celtics fans won't forget anytime soon.

game 7 versus LAL didn't get to you? Not trying to be mean, just surprised that loss wouldn't have been painful as fuck. Game 4 and 6 vs Boston in '08 left me reeling.

But yeah, end of an era most likely. I hate the Celtics, but respect them. The LAL-Boston games the last few years have all been great, too. I will be sad if they won't be as special going forward.

Same boat. I was a Lebron fan until he started talking about how awesome he is and no-showed and quit on his team. Plus the lack of improvement in his offensive arsenal outside of adding a 3 (until this year).

These last 2 games are the first time in a long time he seemed to be really focused.

That was a great game 7. LeBron was phenomenal, again. Can't believe that none of his teammates could drain any of the open 3's he was setting up.

Battier was 4/8 and Bosh 3/4.

i mean, it obviously was a huge bummer but i knew they would all be back for another go at it next season. this time around though, that isn't going to happen - its the end. i think doc will be back, and kg will either retire or re-sign but allen will go somewhere else. pierce has a season left on his contract, but i don't know what more he can give now. it'll be sad but interesting to see what happens - ainge said at the beginning of the season he didn't want to rebuild the team around rondo, but its obvious that he is going to have to do that now (unless he tries to do something completely retarded like that rondo for gasol rumour).

Damn, that gif is sad.

Mad respect for Doc and the Celts. Wish they had pulled it out

I aint gone lie, I wouldve been out there too if I could. I thought we were going home till bosh came back. Fuck the haters.

Wade quit fucking laughing up there, LeBron carried your ass straight to this point

Now please turn it on in the Finals or something please, thanks

I second this. Wade has ranged from mediocre to bad for most of the playoffs. He needs to step it up in the Finals, big time.

You watched a different game. Battier 3's and Bosh's random 3's were the biggest shots. The guys that bricked 3's were Lebron and Wade except Lebron's 3 from another zip code.
