I have that same psu and it is awesome, was tempted to do the same and go for 750 instead but I can't see myself going sli with all the realted issues and huge cost involved.

Also it is really straightforward to build a PC, takes maybe 4-5 hours taking your time. Modular psu REALLY helps keep the stress down. Just jump online and Google around for a few writeups that include putting the CPU cooler in as that will be the more stressful part since it is one of the first things you do. Once that is done you will be feeling awesome that it wasn't as painful as you thought it would be!

Sounds good. So I'm looking at about $1700 with my updated build, and even though I don't think I'll SLI, I may decide to do it in a couple of years so why not?

I'm actually watching the old Tested video about building a gaming PC, it's quite interesting so far. Has anyone heard about these Yamakasi Catleap 27" monitors, everyone on Whirlpool is raving about them? I mean, they said like a cheap and dirty job, but for $320 you can have a 2560x1440 monitor. I might get one eventually (a year or so).

We didn't do a registry mainly because we have all the essentials and told everyone we would just have a wishing well for people to give towards, then once we work out how much we have we will keep everyone posted on what we have spent it on (probably an eventual honeymoon at this point!). Even Christmas is a hard for people to come up with stuff to give us.

Basically I just want video game stuff usually!
And nappies. The more nappies the merrier!
Oh and booze to wash away the things I come across every day in my job. Certainly makes me very thankful for all that I have when I come home from work every day after hearing/seeing that shit!

I haven't really delved outside of the $40ish range so far really, I've been waiting to a time when I have some money and holiday time saved up to sit down for a whole day with a bottle and a book in the sun or next to a fireplace and really savour it.

My dream would be to travel the world and taste every beer and liquor known to man, keeping a blog of my experiences. That would keep a shit eating grin on my face every day.

The "lets look up ticklish animals" period lasted about an hour. Prior to that it was an assortment of other bullshit.

The most baffling thing is that, outside of their couple moments, they're both grounded, intelligent human beings. It's both repulsive and fascinating to witness couples who posses admirable intellect devolve to the intelligence of children, interacting through giggles, baby talk and nonsense.

Humans are weird. I like my women grounded.
