Catching up on Skullgirls atm, what a great weekend. Disappointed I couldn't see more live but I caught most of the top 8s last night and that shit was legendary

Those Marvel finals were worth staying up for. Had about three hours of sleep and today is going to be rough at work but damn, it was worth it for Justin's match against ChrisG alone

Watching yesterday's stream right now.
Man, King of Fighters is so much fun watch. I can't play it to save my life but it's my favorite game of the tournament.
And lol at people booing Xbox One. Killer Instinct doesn't look that bad though, but showing it before Marvel probably didn't help it. Also, "CCCCCCOMBO BREAKER" is fucking annoying.

Marvel Finals were great (for once, thx to Justin), but KoFXIII won for me. Reynald (Dat Shades) getting the better of Cafe ID Verna, Hee San Woo out of nowhere sending Madkof in losers, Reynald eliminating Mad KoF, and after being 0-2 in a "no Mr Karate" Grandfinal, Super Sayan it to make japanese player throwing his stick ? Unbe-fucking-lievable.

This was '11 right? I'm not sure if this years evo was better than 2011, but if it wasn't, must have been just a bee's dick away. Multiple games full of crazy hype. I know marvel is the hype monster, but SF4 this year (and in 2011) was just so amazing. When Infiltration picked Hakan, I just imagined ono sitting back telling some guy in near undecipherable English, "told you he was top tier! - tee hee hee"
Shout-outs to PR Rog for doing the business when it had to be done, and throwing it away at the end lol.

This was a great evo, but I have to be honest, SF4 has been losing its luster for me for a couple of years now. Still hype though, thanks to Hakan, PR Rog and Xian.

I feel sorry for the dude his mindset was on 3 wins and then suddenly told that it's over, of course he is going to look salty. People making fun of it would be salty too I'm sure if that happened to them up on stage in front of thousands.
I thought that even the announcers questioned 3 out of 5 too, which is what made me think the same, Evo ref should have let every couple know officially so bad props to them.

Finished watching Marvel. Holy fuck that Wong vs Flocker series. Glad justice prevailed.
Maybe he's emulating the diet of the Skullgirls team? (may they have prosperity in the near future)
They, especially James Chen, knew it was 2/3 but questioned it only because they weren't sure if the players knew something different than them. It's the way Evo has been for years, it's been in the rules since Melee was added, and if anyone was watching KoF they would've noticed it 2/3 there as well.

Marvel was better than last years, the true Evo champion is Justin Wong, eliminating the bad man.
SF4 was much better than last year. Infiltration finally shows he's human and pulls out Hakan out of fucking nowhere. Great PR Rog run.

150 K viewers, bring back Smash next year and Nintendo as a panelist and let's break 200K

It's been 6 years since smash was last at evo right? I guess some people forget the rules, none the less a tournament this big stuff should be recapped even if it was written down next to the television for all players to notice.

For some reason, it's common for west coast majors to run 2/3 for most games except in Grand Finals only, whereas east coast is more commonly 3/5 for WF/LF/GF.
3/5 for the entirety of SF4 top 8 was a pleasant surprise.
Man Marvel was heartbreaking, still can't believe, some of the best matches in the history of this game right there.

You crazy, this was the most exciting EVO I ever seen. Marvel Top 8 was crazy with Justin Wong run from the losers bracket, SF semis+finals were some of the best SF ever and it had a lot characters variety, Melee pools were great hype and Top 8 had some great matches as well, KOF top 8 was as great as last year, only Injustice wasn't that great.
MrWizard had said something about P4A only getting an official tournament if the community brought him waifus. So they brought him a hug pillow and a figurine.

I didn't expect Justin of all people to come back in such a spectacular fashion for one. Reynald powering through the whole losers bracket in KOF was really something. Infiltration having to reach deep and counter pick with Hakan of all characters.

Production this year was amazing for an FGC event, being able to get a stream up for just about every game was nuts. The finals themselves were the strongest set I can think of at any Evo, even Marvel got my hyped after I got massively salty after Chris G got hit by the Kadey curse. Also Chen and S-Kill getting emotional followed by Spooky setting us free with an extended cut was the perfect send off.

It disappointed me that at a high level, superman zoning still won. It makes me chuckle when I hear, "Just duck/block and dash!".

As someone who's not familiar with the game Superman does indeed look cheap, combos with great damage and broken lasers from far away.

I've barely touched UMvC3, how good is Shuma anyway? Used to love throwing people off by picking her/it in MvC2.
