Can't wait to see what comes up tomorrow for Club Nintendo download games. WTB something cool for the 3ds!!

For some reason I feel that games like La Mulana aren't going to do very well on WiiWare alone. It's taken a while for that game in particular to come out and the initial excitement and interest for it may have waned a bit. I definitely think that they should start working on a 3DS version as well.

They've all-but-confirmed a Steam version.

We can only hope Nintendo just considers handheld = different so lolzgogogogo rebuy VC stuff you already got on Wii again but then with Wii U because its sorta like DS -> 3DS it can transfer.

Hopefully, lol. >_>

So since they added online play to SF2 they can totally release Pokemon R/B on 3DS with online trading and battles now, right?

I'd buy it even without online stuff added, though.

Link Cable stuff is much, much harder to emulate, and even if it wasn't they wouldn't do it because Nintendo.

Please Lawd let Picross e come out in the US. I finished Picross 3D not days ago and need a new puzzle fix.

Perhaps I will check out this "push-mo" the kids have been talking about...

Also please let the Rayman Origins demo come out soon. I need to decide whether to go for the higher res PC version (with free Rayman 2 with preorder) or the 3D 3DS version.

If you have a thing for either puzzle games or pixel art, you owe it to yourself to get Pushmo. If not, you should probably get it anyway.

Oh, please be true... I will not buy my games againagainagain Nintendo.

Seen how they did the same for the DSi I'd say it would be very strange for them not to use the same transfer for the WiiU. What I'm wondering though if this content will be shared to all accounts on a WiiU or only be tied to one account.

I'm on the fence as well, I mean I love 2D with 3D layer separation (muramasa pics look godlike) but the real fun of Rayman Origins (at least for me) is Multiplayer, so I'm gravitating more towards the 360 version.

If you've got 100 Club Nintendo Coins to spare you can grab Mario's Picross from the VC for free this month.

Either way, you should definitely be getting Pushmo (or better yet, Glow Artisan!).

Does anyone have more than 120 spaces on their 3DS menu? I ask because I have 120, and with 92 different icons some of my "pages" are starting to fill up. Most notably I only have 2 free spaces left on my VC page and that's just because I have 5 VC games on my first page.

I'm guessing it'll give me more space around 100 icons, but if not I may have to rethink how I have my menu organized.

I was thinking of trying to maximize the number of icons I have to hopefully bump up my menu space (put on my small DSiWare and store the big stuff so I have as many as possible at once, download all demos even if I own the game, etc.) but I don't know how many icons I'll need for it to expand again.

I did a quick internet search and it appears that someone else was wondering the same thing, got the menu VERY close to 120 titles, and it expanded to 180 spaces.

Now I can't find the link, but I think it was in the NWR forums.

Hmm, it sounds like the threshold might be around 100, but I'm not sure. I might have to just reorganize into smaller pages for now.

ps goddamn VC is a barren wasteland over here, are they holding back the goods till e3 or what? i guess milking gameboy before dropping GBA is something, but it's been a bit now.

Ew.

And from the other thread...

No, Mario Picross sucks, a lot. You can barely see shit and if you are expecting it to play like Picross DS, you are in for a surprise.

Save your coins.

Seriously? Elaborate please. I was going to get Mario's Picross, but your comment got me worried. What's so different between this game and Picross DS?

In addition to video games available at retail stores, Nintendo also offers a variety of content that people can download directly to their systems. Nintendo adds new titles to the Nintendo eShop for the Nintendo 3DS™ system, to the Nintendo DSi™ Shop for the Nintendo DSi system and to the Wii™ Shop Channel for the Wii console at 9 a.m. Pacific time on Thursdays.

The Nintendo eShop is a cash-based service and features games, applications and videos in both 2D and 3D. Users can add money to their virtual wallets using a credit card or by purchasing a Nintendo 3DS Prepaid Card at a retail store and entering the code from the card.

The Wii Shop Channel offers games and applications and uses Wii Points™, which can be purchased via the Wii Shop Channel. The Nintendo DSi Shop offers games and applications and uses Nintendo DSi Points™, which can be purchased in the Nintendo DSi Shop. A Wii Points Card™ and Nintendo DSi Points Card™ can be purchased at retail locations. All points from one card must be redeemed in either the Wii Shop Channel or the Nintendo DSi Shop, respectively. They are not transferable and cannot be divided between the two systems.

Remember that Wii, Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo DSi feature parental controls that let adults manage some of the content their children can access. For more information about this and other features, visit http://www.nintendo.com/wii, http://www.nintendo.com/3ds or http://www.nintendo.com/ds.

I love looking for the Nintendo releases each week, but hate this thread's format. Too confusing and too much going on. I would much rather just see groups of weekly releases, by region, then spreading it out as much as possible. This is a news thread, and even though it's march 1st, the op is already cluttered.

Hmm, I picked up Mario Picross, and I like it lol. I don't know what wrong with it (only played 1 level so far), but it controls and plays fine imo.

yeah, please elaborate - i'm deciding what to use my remaining coins on and there's only so many months before they run out. i mainly only wanted this one because i heard so much good about that DSi (i think it was?) one with the old-school puzzles/music.
not being able to see shit is a huge deterrent for me.

Ew.

This is wrong. Boo this man.

From what I played the game is fine. But it does lack "grey out" for the part you've solved. Everything else seems fine to me. The screen is a bit tiny, and it doesn't have a zoom feature like in the DS version.

Ew.

DON'T LISTEN TO THIS MAN.

Mario Picross looks fine and plays great. It's highly addictive and gets really challenging as you progress. I say it's a must if you love puzzle games.

You take that back, Mario's Picross is tons of fun if you enjoy puzzle games. I hope they release the Picross-e soon in America.

Have about 20 hours into Mario Picross. More than what I have than most of the DD games on here for the time being.

VC is really bad here.

Ew.

You're retarded. Mario's Picross is one of the best puzzle games ever.

And any Art Style game is a safe bet.
